WARNING: Do NOT COME in this coffee shop. You will be RIPPED OFF and will encounter a very BAD ATTITUDE both from a customer service and Management. I don't know what happens to this coffee shop but I now call them Bad or Worst Days coffee rather than their actual name Better Days. Few years ago I had been coming to this coffee shop almost every day and the customer service are nice. After a year I came back and the customer service becomes bad and very rude especially the guy in a beard wearing a hat making coffee is the rudest.
Its happens twice now that every time I order coffee at the counter the customer service is not really listening very well when I told her I want a lavender latte and chaggacino both 12 oz with almond milk. Instead she only ring me with one coffee which is lavender and she adds chagaccino. I specifically say two separate coffee lavender and chagacino.
I went to the guy with a beard wearing a hat who is making coffee and I told him that this was the second time that the lady in the cashier is not listening and paying attention well to my order. Instead of him apologizing he made a very rude comment saying that I had a very heavy accent which I find it offending and I felt being discriminated. He even told me DO NOT COME BACK in this coffee shop. I told him to just refund me since I did not get my coffee as because of his rudeness I just prefer to walk away rather than stay there wait for them to make my coffee. . He then said thatâs what his doing refunding me.
After few days I found out a charge in my account and I called the coffee shop and i ask politely to speak to a Manager. I explain to a rude lady in the phone what happens and she said thatâs they will NOT GIVE ME A REFUND and that the customer service has probably a reason to tell me not to come back. She then hang up on me.
Nowadays they had a very dirty and smelly bathroom when unlike before when I used to come here almost everyday they had a very clean bathroom.
I regret coming back here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND coming here as the customer service becomes RUDE and BAD.Instead of them giving apology to a customer they much rather lost a customer than to retain their regular ones that gives them business all the time. And now I can see because of their rudeness and inconsiderate attitude they prefer to keep their RUDE Staffs. I can now wander why it use to be even when they almost closing time they still had a lot of people going in but now lthey had nothing at all. We enjoy supporting local businesses, especially with fresh and unique menu, and delicious açaĂ bowls and lattes. Unfortunately after today we decided we have to go else where. It is completely disrespectful to sit and watch each person who has came in line behind us be served their bowls, toasts, smoothies, bagels, and lattes all before us. This is not the first time this has happened, but we give benefit of doubt and assume theyâre having a bad day or making a mistake. After today we realized it wonât be a better day, it continues to get worse each time we come. Nothing more cringy then sitting and listening to the most loud gossiping girls in our ear who walked in and ordered 15 minutes after us and be served their food. My husband gets up to check if everythingâs okay only to wait another 15 minutes for them to bring one item while the other 2 slowly followed. The entire patio was served before us at this point and after we reminded the staff they continued to serve others. This place is seriously flawed when it comes to management or ownership because they are not training their staff properly. This isnât one mistake this has happened like I said a handful of times today being the worst. Great management would have acknowledged their mistakes and tried to compensate in any way but instead they drop our food off like nothing even happened each time. This business absolutely has no training or understanding of customer service because when a mistake like that is made it should definitely be acknowledged. Had somebody came up to us, a supervisor or even an employee and apologized sincerely and acknowledged their mistakes things would be different and I would even consider coming back because we enjoy their food so much. They couldnât care less about the quality of their product or customer service. Today was the last straw after a string of bad visits. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich. The chicken was clearly past its âserve byâ date and the bread was stale. I mean rock hard stale. The arugula was wilted and there was randomly avocado on it despite it not being listed on the menu??
Not only is the quality of the food atrocious, the customer service is nearly worse. They act uninterested, perhaps even annoyed that youâre there. Orders take 30+ minutes to come out. Sure, itâs a busy place sometimes, but that doesnât excuse how long it takes. The menu isnât that complicated.
The OG staff when they first opened was fantastic, the food was always good, and it kept us coming back, even when things started to tank. We didnât wanna accept that this place, too, is another drop in the bucket of shitty, money hungry cafes in Las Vegas.
Also, that chicken sandwich is NOT cheap for the tiny portion you get, so for it to be as disgusting as it was is just deplorable.
Better Days has seen better days.
