This was not a very good (more or less awkward) experience I had with this restaurant. I made an order online for The Bobbie sandwich because I really wanted it super bad! The ordering process was a breeze, and then I went to go pick it up.
I went in to grab it, the gentleman in the front (whom I can't identify) was not able to locate my order for a moment. I told him what I ordered, and the information on the order. Then after rummaging through the fridge, he pulled out a sandwich, had me sign a receipt and I was on my way. And then it was all good.
Or so I thought.
I get to my destination, open a sandwich and Oh Snap! It's not a Bobbie! I called the store 15 minutes after picking up the sandwich and spoke to someone named Randall, (probably the same person I picked up from). I told him I had gotten the wrong sandwich and I asked if I can come back to the store to exchange it. He said, "Uhh you would have to come back tomorrow because we ran out of bread." I was quite dumbfounded because you would think they would have a decent supply of bread? Since I couldn't get an exchange, I asked for a refund of the sandwich instead. He hesitated on the phone and then asked me again what was wrong with the sandwich. I told him once again it was not The Bobbie and it was something totally different; only similarity was MAYBE the meat. He then just told me he issued the refund, and the call ended.
The refund was issued almost instantly, so I am glad the individual I spoke to honored that. Normally I am not pushy on getting an exchange/refund request, but mind you, The Bobbie is one of the more "Premium Items", which carries a higher price tag, so I wanted to make sure I didn't get screwed over. Thankfully that was not the case here. Regrettably, the people I interacted with throughout the ordeal did not seem to be very accommodating; and I am still bewildered by the fact they "ran out of bread". If there is an issue with inventory, that should be something management needs to be on top of, because that is quite ridiculous.
Attached are the pictures of the sandwich I ordered, compared to what I got, which is very clearly not The Bobbie. This might have just been a minor mistake on someone's end, but it does not inspire confidence for me to order at this location again. However, again, I do appreciate that they were cooperative and were able to issue the refund, so they have my...
Read moreI had a very bad experience after spending almost $18 on a Vegetarian Turkey Sandwich at this place. The place was't busy while I was there, the 2 younger white guys working there were extremely ignorant and would make the customer feel dumb when asked simple Capriotti's related questions. An older gentleman in front me was asking a question about the Capriott's order he had placed on his app and the socially awkward employee was making the customer feel very embarrassed. Once my turn came and I asked for the large vegetarian turkey, the employee began acting ignorant and pretending as is he wasn't hearing me. Once I reminded him to quit fooling around and take a very simple order, he got his act together, but I received the worst possible sandwich I had ever received in my life.
Let's be very clear; I have been to several Capriotti's and not one of them deserves less than 4 Stars, but this location is in need of serious help in employee -customer service training. Hiring a bunch of immature young guys whom behave as teenage boys (ignorant, childish, self centered and socially challenged) and let them run the business is not a good business decision. I also asked a simple question about the catering service as my garbage sandwich was handed to me and the employee with very large earrings mumbled something and did not make any eye contact. When I asked again how many sandwiches are included in the large party tray, the idiot stated "Why are you doing that". I asked him twice what he exactly meant by his statement, he finally stated "I am talking to the counter". At this point I just wanted to leave the sandwich and walk away, but my son was hungry and took the sandwich and left.
I will never visit this location again unless confirmation of extensive employee training is provided by the management team. Good luck with...
Read moreThis review goes for pretty much all locations... I seldom have bad service or a problem with my sandwich order. The turkey is shredded (like tuna), but defenitely not the same thing. It's pulled by hand off freshly cooked HUGE turkeys! Rarely have I got a bone and my stuff always comes out fast. Sometimes you get a stoner kid who works there and he screws up, or someone new who is learning, but I have patience for that. Cappriottis kills the competition every time! If you want a great sandwich, this is your place. I reccomend the Bobbi of course, but if you're not in the mood for Thanksgiving on a roll; try the Capistrami. It's got pastrami & coleslaw on it so if you don't like those two things then I'd go for the meatball sandwich or the Italian which is pretty much every single kind of meat and whatever else you want on it. You really can't go wrong...
