Pros: New location, Friendly staff Cons: Untrained staff, Undersized portions
I was excited to have a new Chipolte open up that is very close to me. Unfortunately my experiences have been negative. The burrito I received was so incredibly small (half of a dollar bill wrapped) I decided to open it and see what went wrong. Turns out there was no protein.
Weighed the protein (chicken) as I didn't want to eat a burrito that was 90% tortilla and rice. Chicken was 1.9 ounces, LESS THAN HALF of what they are instructed to give.
Contacted customer service and while courteous demeanor, they tell you to "sign up for the app and we'll send you a BOGO". I don't think they understand BOGO with half portions is just...buy one. Not to mention that signing up for their app allows them to sell your demographics, email and phone number to their partners by default (worth more than a burrito). They actually just try and make more money off you if you have a complaint.
This company has fallen off. We are just numbers on an accountants page at this point. If they are not going to adequately train their staff they should be weighing the ingredients prior to serving. What other chain has these type of portion/quality issues? 5B in revenue a year with shrinking portions and a declining customer experience. Choose a local small business or new startup to support as an alternative. There is a Greek place right next door with similar...
Read moreI'm leaving 3 stars because the bowl I got was decently good. I asked for extra lettuce, and I got barely any. The bowl was definitely small, and the chicken were very small pieces, kind of like they were running out. The reason I got Chipotle was that I wanted to use my rewards. I used it for a side of queso. I went in, and they were busy. I walked to the pick-up side. When it was my turn, I told her my name. She looked for my order and then saw a ticket on the floor. She picked it up, and it was mine. She threw it away and gave me the SEALED bag. I didn't question it. I go to the one on W.Lake Mead, and they have never messed up on my food. So I had trust. I got home and sat down to eat. I opened my SEALED bag, and there were no chips. It might not seem like a huge deal, but the chips are a Chipotle must have when you order. I eat my bowl with the chips, and I got queso for it. I tried to get a refund for the chips. I got a code to get a free order of chips&guac. It's annoying because I have never ordered guac. I don't like guac. At least I can get chips...
Read moreAvoid this location. The employees are extremely rude, especially Natalia. My coworker ordered a meal with guacamole, and they packed it up for a to-go order. When my coworker mentioned we were eating it in, the employee grew frustrated and said "well you should have said that from the beginning!" in a very rude tone. My coworker then said, I am sorry you did not ask me and Natalia took the lid off that had all the guacamole and cheese on it and flung it in the trash aggressively. My coworker then asked to speak to the manager, who came out, walked up, heard the situation, turned around, and left. No apology, no recognition—just turned around and left; zero f's given. With a manager like that, I am not surprised that Natalia does not know the proper etiquette in customer service. It is apparent that customer service is not their priority at this location. Will never recommend this...
