Just walked out, my husband and I walked in first off they didn’t even greet us so we were just standing there, the guy with the long hair finally said hi so we started to order. Well he just started making my husband sandwich only asked him what kind of bread and then proceeded to make his sandwich then he ask what was my husband having, my husband said a number 1 however if your a sandwich lover the maker should never assume how a sandwich should be prepared, even that’s not the issue the biggest issue was the cross contamination. The sandwich maker got the bread out the oven with clean gloves, then I guess he called himself multitasking because he asked me what kind of sandwich was I having I told him a hot pastrami, well to my surprise he grabs the pastrami out the cooler same gloves then came back to my husbands sandwich. At that point it was over I just asked him was he going to change his gloves and he walked off so we left. Sandwich maker also has shoulder length hair with no net. I don’t know who’s store this is but that just shows me that the public’s health is at risk if they dine here.Hair nets, clean gloves and washed hands before you even put on gloves...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible. I placed my order online with Google and it said that my order would be ready in 21 minutes. I come 21 minutes later to locked doors and the staff ignoring me when they finally come to the door she tells me that she has canceled my order as soon as it came in and that I need to deal with the manager if I have a problem with them not changing their hours online. I informed her that if they’re close at seven to update their hours online that way orders can’t be placed. She told me she canceled it. She did not the charge and the tip is still put through on my credit card. I go back to tell her the order is not canceled and then I want my money back if they’re not going to provide me with the service or product. She tells me that she doesn’t have to do anything that I need to call the manager tomorrow. I ask when she says tomorrow I ask her when tomorrow she screams tomorrow. Marina is in no position to deal or talk to customers and if you know that you aren’t going to fill orders then you should at least call people to let them know, instead of waiting to confront them behind a locked door and take...
Read moreThis is a small community hotspot and not just a sandwich shop. The shopkeepers are friendly and helpful, and will remember the locale if they frequent the place. They also make good recommendations for other places in the city as well.
The sandwiches are also high quality. They make it in front of you and will customize it on a whim provided that you tell them before they do it (e.g. not press-grilling the sandwich when it is usually grilled per menu description). The only limitation is that they only have a limited selection of spreads and can only be customized by the amount of salt, pepper, vinegar, and/or oil used.
Only downside: crowding on certain occasions or long wait time if some certain people are around, but it wouldn't affect the rating. Just a heads up for people.
Overall: five stars for the...
