The cinnamon buns used to be good here, but lately they've been putting so much sauce on them. I don't know if it's to make up for the occasional dryness of the bun itself, but drowned in sauce is not a good look.. or taste, for that matter. I posted a picture of the frosting on Yelp. Not the bun. The frosting. You literally can’t even see the bun even though the frosting is leaking out of the box. The response I got on Yelp was just wrong. Blaming me as the customer for not ordering light sauce? Seems to be a thing that the staff/owners like to do when responding to the reviews. Update: The person who messaged me back from Cinnaholic on Yelp basically told me they’d rather I solve the issue with the bakery itself rather than leaving a bad review because it’s a small business. I never leave bad reviews with the intention of getting a response from the owner or some other bad attitude PR person. I do it for the community. It’s our money, time, and interests as much as it is for the owners and their social media team, but I see it as more for us as customers to look out for each other and share our experiences with others. Not for some lovely person telling me not to leave a bad review because it’s a small business. Nice one, Terri.
Response to owner:
While you find the response appropriate, I do not. Agree to disagree. Keep in mind, your business depends on customers like me purchasing your product and keeping your company afloat. Your response is unbelievable. My current review history of a whopping four reviews IS all 1-Star reviews. What is your point? I leave reviews where the customer service is poor or the product is poor. Both of which I've received here. Most places I've encountered have average customer service. When I do think a place has done superb, I leave a review with a manager or on a business' direct website. Not that I need to explain that to you, but I'm not gonna leave 3 star reviews because people did their job and nothing more. I'm not trying to leave bad reviews just to leave bad reviews. I specifically leave a bad review in the hopes that no one else experiences the same things I did in these businesses in our community. I have a right to do so. I'm not removing my review or editing my other reviews for your pleasure. That's why Google and Yelp reviews were created. To get the truth out there that isn't paid for or edited or any of that to give the business owners better business. I have multiple family members who have gone to Cinnaholic because of my recommendation and I'll be sure to tell them to no longer support you since you clearly aren't professional or understanding in any way, shape or form. By the way, I do not care for the option to opt out of responses on Yelp or anywhere. My point was that my reviews aren't for you because you're not going to change, quite frankly. IT'S FOR MY COMMUNITY. I've been in Centennial Hills for quite some time and I've seen small businesses come and go and there is a reason for that. So best of luck to you...
Read moreCome here all the time with my partner. Today we experienced bad customer service from the guy with locs and a girl with greenish blue in her hair. My partner came in today to purchase a cookie while I grabbed food from one of the surrounding restaurants. When I met her inside cinnaholic she was just standing there and had not been helped. There were no other customers. The man with the locs seemed to be working on online orders. He did not acknowledge me or my partner. Another customer came in and soon after a girl appeared from the back, talked to the man with the locs and returned to the back instead of helping us customers. We ended up leaving.
Update: 6/30/2022. Came in for a DoorDash order. The order on DoorDash stated go ahead and pick up order, it is ready. I have picked up DoorDash orders multiple times from this location and have always just grabbed the bag and no one has said anything. Today I go and it was crowded. The pickup orders weren't in the usual spot. I grab the bag once I see it and go back in line because I wanted to order something for myself. The white woman with glasses was helping a customer and stopped what she Was doing to yell driver and look for me in the store. She yelled I need to see your phone for the order. I showed her as I stood in line waiting to order but of course no one was taking orders for the long line. She then said in front of everyone you can't just go and grab orders next time don't do that and walked off next time don't do that and walked off . I feel very uncomfortable and she made it seem like I was stealing when I literally went back in line to order for myself. I really want to support this place but every time I come the customer service is horrible, it's crowded, there's not enough staff, no one greets you or there's people in the back and not helping anyone upfront. I always have to ask for something fresh because what's behind the window is hard. It's very rare there's good customer service at this place but I don't know if I want to come back after dealing with this worker today she was very rude I feel like she was racially profiling me because there was no need to yell in the store. I was literally standing right in line .probably won't return even though I would like to support a...
Read moreA lot to choose from, If you’re planning on going here, I would go online and take a look at the menu before you get there so you kinda know or have an idea of what they’re working with because if you’re indecisive and you don’t know what you want and you have kids or family with you it’s very frustrating. Trying to figure out what you wanna order what sounds good and you’re just can’t make a decision cause there’s too much to choose from. You would think that this is where good customer service comes into play and when you ask the person working there taking your order you ask them their opinion what is your favorite thing on the menu? What do you suggest out of these three options? what would you choose? and the person tells you “I don’t know depends on what you like” and then keeps demanding you to sit down back down until you decide what to order… the counter then keeps asking you are you ready to order then when you try and order and you’re taking too long or you’re asking questions they tell you to sit back down. I’m not sure what the position is called there cashier/ greeter/ server. I don’t know front of the house? Working front counter handling food, taking orders, preparing orders, making drinks, front counter, closing shift, female. I don’t know who you are, but I should’ve told you to your face. You’re rude and you were rude to my daughter. Not...
