I was shocked to realize that I have never rated or provided a review of this restaurant considering this is the first ramen place that my family and I experienced in Las Vegas since moving here years ago. In fact, this is the first ramen place that my daughter got to experience since she was born, and since then, she's been on a ramen frenzy around this city and everywhere she visits...but no complaints here, since we all love ramen.
It's actually been a few months since we last visited Ichi Ramen and recently, my wife and I decided to stop for dinner on 10 Feb 2024 because it's within close proximity to our house. As always, the service here is remarkable and the food quality is unparalleled. We ordered Miso Ramen, Classic Tonkotsu Ramen, Gyoza, Kimchi Fried Rice, and Green Salad. Every time we eat here, the food just hits the spot! The quantity and quality of the ingredients are second to none.
Although we typically order the same thing whenever we stop in, we have tried the Black Garlic Ramen, Curry Ramen, Shoyu Ramen, Chicken Ramen, Deep-Fried Soft Shell Crab, Takoyaki, Chicken Karaage, Popcorn Shrimp, and Spicy Tuna Roll as well. All of the aforementioned are magnificent and I cannot emphasize enough on how satisfied this restaurant makes you feel when you're done. The prices here are very reasonable and I especially respect how this business supports the active men and women of the Armed Forces, to include its Veterans. My hats off to you for your utmost support.
The only downfall to this restaurant is that it isn't located even closer to my residence. With that, I can only hope that they build one in the Skye Canyon area, so I could literally walk there, enjoy some great ramen, then walk home. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to...
Read moreI never write reviews like this but long story short average food, terrible customer service.
I ate here twice. The first time I ordered here I got ramen and tempura. This is not your authentic Japanese ramen place it's more fusion. I didn't mind.
Second time I came I ordered fried rice and soft shell crab. Better this time instead I ordered extra chasyu with the fried rice. It didn't look like there was extra and the blonde haired server stated that it's half the amount usually. Mind you it was already a tiny amount.
Also they gave me my check before all the food came as they served the fried rice first before the appetizer. I told the server about it to which she said oh. And then I proceeded to say you know what just cancel it but the other server arrived with the soft shell crab.
I wanted mochi as desert and was waiting at my seat for 10 min waving my hand only to be ignored.
I've worked as a server before and I've never given a bill out before asking a customer if everything was okay and if they wanted more food. Also as a server you should be more aware of your surroundings.
Finally when my mochi came it wasn't the strawberry that I ordered but mango. And it came with no utensils. At this point I was more than annoyed because I couldn't even flag the servers down so I went up to the counter myself to finally speak with them.
Both times i came the servers were not friendly at all. I tried to give you guys a chance but fool me once shame on you fool me twice shame on me. Please hire or train your servers to at...
Read moreI got off of the phone for placing an order with them for pick up. Horrible service over the phone. Attitude from the gentleman on the phone. Pretty much rushing me to get off. No proper customer service at all. I like this place a lot which is why it's sad that I have to write this but one rude experience/employee can go a long way. Before I went here, I preferred to drive all the way to Ramen Sora. Even though it was on Spring Mountain, I loved how they treated their customers and the quality of their ramen was authentic and true. I then found ichi since it was near to my new house, less of a drive, and took a liking to it... now I definitely will make the drive because it will be even more worth it to go out of my way. Also, I come to find out that the gentleman that I spoke with was the manager. It's truly horrible that the highest point of contact is the one giving the bad service. He is suppose to be the person that rectifies bad service but instead he gives it. It's truly a shame for whoever is the owner to have this person representing their business. As a small business owner myself, customer service is what makes a business strive but yet he declines it for them slowly but surely. After today. I'm never eating at this place again. Overall I wish this place good fortune in the days to come. They are very successful but I definitely will not take part in its success if it means not dealing with the manager ever again. I definitely do not support a business that hires people like him to...
