The food is excellent! The service was friendly yesterday but iffy due to there being only person filling the orders & he worked as fast as he could & only one person taking the orders who was slow but doing her best. At 1:15 pm there were 5-6 people waiting in line to place their orders & it was obvious there weren’t enough employees for the amount of business. The manager came in after a while, oblivious or disinterested in what was happening. He walked to the back perhaps an office (?) without stepping in to help! The 2 employees working needed help!! The woman taking orders was heard saying she was off the clock but she continued working while the Manager did nothing! This manager should probably be fired. It took 45 minutes to place & receive our order of 1 breakfast sandwich & 1 lox & bagel sandwich! Read moreI normally love Einstein Bros Bagels, but this particular location will discourage anyone new to them, to try them again. Of all their locations, this one appears to be owned (I assume it is a franchise) by somebody who doesn't care. I've been there 7-10 times, almost every time, they are out of coffee except for decaf. The food orders on the last 3-4 trips have been messed up. How do you put cheddar cheese on a sandwich named "Ham & Swiss"? It's frustrating to get home and find out they messed up. But even when you get it for there, they do stuff like bag it to go, and let you guess who's order is who's because they don't mark the sandwiches with the type it is. I'm a harsher critic than most probably because I worked in the food service industry. I noticed there are a lot of new people in here each time I go. Read moreI generally don't go in here, but when I do, I'm never overly impressed. In general, the staff doesn't really seem happy to see customers. They almost seem to appear as if customers are a bother. But, when I go in, I'm usually just there for a quick bagel with lox so I don't give their service much thought. The quality is decent enough for the price, and I'm not there for a full dining experience. But, today, I was super disappointed with the service and my purchase. The order on the left barely had any lox on it...both halves of the bagel were extremely lacking- oh, and the outer onion ring was the skin.
