**Tradition and Excellence: Giordano's** Giordano's holds a special place in the hearts of many, and my recent experience at their establishment only solidified this sentiment. Stepping into Giordano's feels like embarking on a culinary journey through time, where tradition and flavor converge to create an unforgettable dining experience. The Chicago Classic: Deep Dish, adorned with Pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers & onions, was a testament to the rich heritage behind Giordano's recipes. As I indulged in each bite, I couldn't help but appreciate the story behind this iconic dish. Originating as a sacred tradition in the Giordano family and later becoming a legend in Torino, this pizza has undoubtedly stood the test of time. It's fascinating that this cherished recipe made its way across continents, thanks to Italian immigrants Efren and Joseph Boglio, who sought to share their Mama's stuffed pizza with the world. As someone who isn't typically drawn to Chicago-style pizza, I approached my meal with cautious curiosity. However, my reservations were quickly dispelled upon tasting the fresh, hot slices before me. Despite my personal preferences, I couldn't deny the exceptional quality of the ingredients and the impeccable execution of each dish. The Chicken Parmesan, with its breaded chicken breast smothered in melted mozzarella and house-made marinara sauce, was a delightful symphony of flavors that left me craving more. Yet, it would be remiss of me not to mention the one drawback I encountered during my visit: the wait time. While perfection takes time, waiting 45 minutes for a deep-dish pizza felt slightly excessive, especially for a sit-down meal. This minor inconvenience left me torn between my desire to indulge in Giordano's offerings and the practicality of opting for takeout instead. In conclusion, while Giordano's may not have entirely won me over as a Chicago-style pizza enthusiast, I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic flavors and impeccable craftsmanship. Despite my reservations, there's no denying the undeniable allure of Giordano's culinary legacy. So, whether you're a die-hard deep-dish aficionado or simply seeking a memorable dining experience, Giordano's will surely leave a lasting impression on your taste buds.

Where do I start.... Everyone was cool coming in, but things got a little awkward when I asked for a clean glass for my Pepsi because the first glass was dirty. After that, I was pretty much invisible as the manager and the server happily conversed with EVERY surrounding table except for mine. Pizza was wonderful as I expect Giordanos to be, but the only contact I had with the manager is when he rudely slammed my glass down on the table, and the only contact with my server was when he brought my food and drinks and brought the check, which by the way was put to the side to get another tables order and drinks. Two questions were asked (only because it was part of the job) and I don't spend money to be ignored and to feel invisible. I asked for the check and was expected to be asked to stick around for dessert, but I was met with my server Daniel shoving my pizza in a tiny box that left the cheese and toppings EVERYWHERE! They should have interacted with our party as they interacted with every party. Chicago would NEVER treat their guests in this manner. Maybe Giordanos Las Vegas should take notes. Or maybe Applebees should have stuck around. They knew how to treat every guest as equal. Great Pizza, non existent service.

Worst experience. Was excited to try this place out. Even when we walked in, the food looked amazing and the smell was heaven. We were seated by the waitress and seated at a dirty table with crumbs on the table. We overlooked it and started looking at the menu. 10 minutes went by, and everyone in the restaurant was checked on and helped except us. Once we were sitting for 20 minutes, I had to call the waitress over to put in our drink orders. She explained she was the only server working, and we understood (still hoping for the best experience). She came back over a few minutes after that and took our food order. People came and went for another 20 minutes, and our drinks were empty and pretty soon people who arrived after us, already had their 3 pies. When we hit an hour of waiting, we decided we had enough and decided to leave. On the way out the waitress tried explaining what was taking so long, but we just said "no thank you" and continued to leave. The waitress ended up saying, "Whatever!" And walking back into the kitchen. This place definitely looks good and maybe I'll have to order delivery instead of dealing with the rude server...

I am not sure if this is their typical type of night, but to me, service is everything. When we sat down, it took at least 10 minutes or longer to have a waitress greet us. We had already picked out an appetizer and meal. The menu (main, kids, or liquor) didn't list any drink options. They have coke products, and there are no free refills on the strawberry, raspberry, or other fruit mix lemonade. We placed our order, and for two 6" deep dishes, it was at least a 20-minute cook time. We were done with our appetizers and were waiting for our meal. It felt like it was longer than 20 minutes, but I didn't time it to be exact. It has been a while since I've had their bigger deep dishes, but my son's crust was a little overcooked. It was hard to cut through with a butter knife. But he said it was still good. The meal and appetizer were good. We did love their homemade sauces, too! Also, the TV screens were on the same side that we were sitting on and none on the opposite side. So watching any sports was a little daunting. We had to awkwardly look at the screens if we wanted to catch a glimpse of any games. Although it took a while for service and food, the waitress was nice. It seemed like she had a large service area where there were a lot more people at the tables versus just my son and me. I'm used to a manager coming around asking how everything was during our meal. We both enjoyed the food. We've always loved their pizza. We just do not visit as often. I would still recommend their food and either have patience eating there or just order it to go. I couldn't figure out how to reply to the manager, but I'm going by what the waitress said about the drink products. She had quite a few tables. Like I said, she was nice. I had water with lemon, and my son had a strawberry lemonade. My son and I looked everywhere on the menu, and we didn't see the non-alcoholic drinks. Of there a separate non-alcoholic drink menu, we didn't have one. That's why we asked the waitress what drinks you served because we were ready to order everything but our drinks. We sat long enough to review the menus (kids, alcoholic, and food) thoroughly. I was surprised it wasn't listed anywhere. And where we sat, the TVs were on the same side as where we sat. If you were closer, I'd come over and take photos. Again, it may not have been your typical night of operations. I'm giving you the benefit of a doubt. Your food is what keeps my family coming, not the service, every so...

So when we came in we had the children and it was late afternoon we were very worried that the kids would be too tired to behave. I do not have words to describe how awesome our server Annica has been. She 100% fully anticipated the possible problems we might have before one even really started and was kind enough to not only provide coloring stuff like most places but she even went out of her way and got extra pizza dough balls with a tray for the kids to play with while we waited!! I was unbelievably pleased with our experience and she spoke to the kids and extremely patient and personable but not overly on top of us either where we had space to still talk and such. They also helped us out with seating and set us in area where there wasn't too many people around us and luckily they weren't too busy so they were able to provide that. She was unbelievably helpful and genuinely the perfect example of a true genuine good server!!!!! She was knowledgeable about their menu and what was and was not possible and was a very aware of their inventory in the kitchen. She even helped encourage the kids to eat by offering our children who somewhite embarrassingly kept nagging her for cherries that she would make them a surely Temple with extra cherries if they finished their food!!! Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the pie was amazing and absolutely delicious too!!! Our children wolfed it down like it was going to be there last meal because they loved it so much!!!! Thank you guys so much we will definitely be back especially for the fair reasonable price the whole establishment was a great atmosphere and family environment without the chaos!!!! Thank you guys so much for the experience and again special shout out to server Annica, because genuinely she actually did a really good job and is literally my definition of an...
