On 5/3, I arrived 10 minutes before close and asked if its still okay to order, the two male employees said yes so I proceeded to order my sandwiches and started to get rude looks and annoying sounds from the guy taking the orders (white man with blondish hair) when I asked for no cheese and mustard on few of the sandwiches! Excuse me!!! I would’ve left to another restaurant if you are so lazy to do your job or wanted to go home right at close time 9 pm! Why say yes from the beginning and then whine about it the entire time you are taking and making the order!!!! The other man who was an African American was very kind and understanding and I felt how rude his colleague was! My cousin asked if we can purchase a loaf of bread and the rude guy was like no we are closed loudly! His colleague just handed us one! I believe in 20% tip minimum but I felt so upset to give the rude guy and still left some for the nice gentleman because my order was about a $100. I work in customer service and I understand the end of the day feeling but I would never excuse such a behavior!
In terms of food, the bread was dry (I suspect its a day old) because the plain loaf was way fresher than the ones for the sandwiches and I am sad they took out the Dijon! It was a deal breaker for me between JJ and other places! And no orange...
Read moreI will not be returning to this location ever again. Last time i ordered avocado on my sandwich, the guy let me know it would be a dollar extra. I sais ok, because i love avocado, and dont mind paying a little extra. Ordered my boyfriend a gargantuan. I took it home and had pretty much zero avocado on my sandwich, which i paid for. Expecting my bf's sandwich to be fairly big, because of the name of course, there was hardly anything gargantuan about it, it was a normal sized sandwich with very little ingredients. I guess i could've watched the guy make my sandwiches, but he was already done and had em wrapped before i finished paying at the register...but i still expect to get what i paid for regardless. Anyway, i wanted to give them another chance because my bf loved the sandwich he got from another location, but this one is right around the corner from our house. The second i walk in, they tell me they're out of french bread, all they have is wheat and lettuce wraps. The french bread is main part of what we like about the sandwich. So im like ok, we'll just do wheat. But theu start making my sandwiches on small square wheat bread, totally not what i am paying for. I had to cancel my order. Read moreI stopped in to get a #16 regular Turkey bacon. When they called out #17 instead of #16. Making the wrong Sandwhich… they remade my Sandwhich to a #16. When I got my sandwich I headed back to work. Once I began to eat my sandwich it seemed to be missing meat. I took it apart and I got one slice of Turkey and one strip of bacon. On a regular there is to be 3 slices of Turkey of 3 slices of bacon. I called and spoke to the manager who did not resolve the issue. Would give me a credit for bacon but not correct the Sandwich . Paid 14.00 for a Sandwhich which ended up being cheese, lettuce and tomato. Check your order before you leave! I will not be using this location for any food services as the customer service is poor with no concern for what they did wrong. Customer service is the number one reason people return to a business after an inconvenience is made by a business. Without that I will not be giving my business to you. Advise others to do the same. Spend your money on a business that cares for customer service, and product excellence. To the manager your team member couldn’t even ring in the order correctly.
