I got the large. For my protein I got the spicy poke, steak, and teriyaki chicken. For my two sides I got the kimchi slaw, and macaroni salad. Came with two scoops of white rice. The tuna was warm, and didn't seem as fresh as it could be. Wasn't spicy at all IMO. The steak was ok. But much better with the spicy yaki sauce which also was not spicy IMO. The star of the show was the teriyaki chicken. Was delicious and had nice crispy chargrilled edges from the grill that were super yummy. The rice was rice. Nothing special and nothing wrong with it. I was really looking forward to the kimchi slaw... But sadly that was my least favorite thing and I didn't like how they didn't put it in a side cup like the tuna. The result was my rice soaking up all the juices from the slaw, which probably would have been ok if I liked the kimchi slaw. The macaroni salad was standard. All in all, we have been wanting to try this place for a really long time. My boyfriend grew up in Hawaii so he really enjoys Hawaiian food, he agreed that it was nothing that stood out from any other place here in Las Vegas. He did enjoy his Chicken katsu and macaroni salad. He got the pork but said he would have rather gotten the teriyaki chicken once he tasted mine. I also tasted the pork and it just wasn't for me. He agrees that the kimchi slaw was meh š. So we wouldn't go out of our way to eat here again. Wasn't anything that stuck out to us that we couldn't get somewhere else. The portion was large, but quality was sorta lacking. It's not somewhere we plan to return. Might try other locations as we have heard from many people that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood is not bad for the equivalent of Hawaiian Fast Food. The staff on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered lunch thru Grub Hub on 2 separate occasions and on both orders the staff forgot to include our sauce cups that were specifically and clearly listed on the order. The first time, I let it slide chalking it up to a one off mistake. On the second order I thought it was important to call the restaurant to find out who dropped the ball, the delivery service or the restaurant. When I finally did speak to a human, she did not know how answer the question of who was responsible and said there was "nothing they could do about it now" ?!?!
Shame on you management for not providing adequate training, coaching and development to your staff, sending them out obviously ill equipped to deal with basic customer service requirements.
I then suggested to team member who answered the phone that they should review their procedures to eliminate this problem in the future, her reply was moronic silence. NO apology, NO taking responsibility for the Brand, NO assurances that they'll do better next time... just SILENCE!?!?
I realize it is just a few sauce cups, but it's what I ordered and PAID FOR and did NOT receive. I think it very reasonable to have my concerns addressed and acknowledged. This was not done.
I will NOT be ordering...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePlaced an order for pick up (through uber eats) at 8:15pm. I went to pick up my food at around 8:30pm and when I told them my name they said they had nothing from Uber. I looked around as she was looking at the tablet and realized all of their food was put away and they were mopping. I did not argue with them and even asked if they had other locations I could pick up the food from. I then mentioned to the workers that Uber was going to try to call them to confirm the issue in order for me to receive my refund. She said she would answer the call. My car was parked right in front of the door and I have a dash cam (if any proof is needed) and I called uber eats. Uber said they would call the store and I watched the worker pick up the phone, talk for about 5 seconds, and then disconnect the phone. Uber rep had to apologize because the worker hung up on her as she was talking. Uber asked me to go inside, at this point it was around 8:45pm, and both doors were locked by the other worker right before I tried to go in. Thankfully I still received my refund but it was very frustrating. If you're going to close at 8pm, then change the hours. I drove over 30 minutes and had to deal with that whole experience...
