It was that time of year (actually time of week) to pick out a new Indian restaurant to try. I've been on a continuous binge of Indian-inspired food lately and recently, I was yet again in the mood to eat some Tandoori Chicken and Naan. I did a quick Google search of nearby Indian restaurants and one of the results was this restaurant - I was surprised that I haven't heard of this place before. After reading about this restaurant, I realized that this restaurant is fairly new and it just opened its doors not too long ago. The menu looked magnificent and the restaurant had some great reviews, so on 14 Apr 2024, my wife and I decided to try this restaurant. We arrived right at 5:00 pm (opening time), so it wasn't busy at all. We were greeted very nicely by all the employees we came in contact with which is always refreshing to experience. Our server asked what we wanted to drink and I mentioned water was fine. I was shocked to see that they serve bottled water to their customers versus tap (filtered) water. I mean who in their right minds would complain about getting bottled water with their meals these days? Although, I was a little taken back when I noticed that they charged us for the bottled water even when I didn't request it. Oh well, if I can't afford a 50 cent bottle of water with my meal, then there's something to be said about me going out to eat in the first place. The food here is outstanding! We ordered the Tandoori Chicken (Half Order), Non-Vegetarian Platter, Lamb Samosa, Garlic Naan, Spicy Chili Naan, Chicken Karahi, and Lamb Bhuna. Just a heads-up to other customers, if you're not big into spicy stuff, stay away from the Spicy Chili Naan because that bread is actually spicy. Some restaurants specify "spicy" to some of their entrées but when you get it, it isn't actually spicy; however, this item packs some heat. The Lamb Bhuna and Tandoori Chicken were very flavorful and by far stole the show for me. Indian food is always unique with their generous and intricate use of spices...so I always expect to have a wonderful culinary experience when visiting new Indian restaurants...and Taj Palace is no short of extraordinary. I noticed that this restaurant has a lunch buffet that has piqued my interest...so I definitely want to try that out to see if the same quality of food is served during that time frame. I'll be sure to update my review whenever that occurs. The service at this restaurant is phenomenal; from the moment you walk in, all the way to when you depart. The price-to-quantity/quality ratio is spectacular - you definitely get your money's worth at this restaurant! I especially respect this business because of their support for the active men and women of the Armed Forces, to include its Veterans...so thank you, Taj Palace, for that! If you've never been to this restaurant yet, I highly encourage you to plan it in the near future. If you've already been here before, then I suppose I'll see you again sometime soon since I'm sure this place left a positive impact on your experience as it did for me. Regardless, I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

If you're looking for an exceptional Indian dining experience in Las Vegas, look no further than Taj Palace!!! We had an excellent experience at Taj Palace. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and the decor gorgeous and elegant. The food was delicious, full of authentic Indian flavors, and each dish was prepared with great care and cultural pride. The ambiance was nice, the background music was a vibe, and the staff treated us like royalty. They were very kind, attentive, and had great knowledge of the menu. The food was on point! The heat was just right and the garlic naan was heavenly good!!! The food was very delicious and halal! They received several of best restaurants award and you can see all of them on the wall. We were there for the lunch buffet and it had a big selection of dishes to pick from. Each dish was flavorful and high quality !!! They prepare their food fresh every morning and you can taste the freshness, absolute goodness and top quality! The spices were well balanced and the food wasn't overly spicy at all. We have also ordered a couple of items from alacarte and we liked it a lot, especially Lamb Sukka - yummy!!! And Chicken 65 was very tasty too!!! Also, we have tried their several popular desserts and they were heavenly delicious, a Mango Custard- a MUST TRY! Overall: we had a wonderful experience! Hands down the best Indian restaurant in town! We highly recommend it !!! Thank you so much for such a wonderful experience!

Found this place on Yelp and wanted to try it out instead of driving all the way to Mt. Everest which I usually get my Indian food. I clicked on the order link on Yelp and proceeded to put my order and paid for it (around $112 with tip, Mar 11). When I got to the place to pick up my order, to my dismay I was told that they didn't get my order because it by default it goes to their original location which I was not aware of. The waitress called their manager, and he told me, I can place the same order because he guarantees to me that the authorization for the order I placed would not even go through because they don't even use the online system at the original place at all. He even guaranteed me that if both authorizations go through, he would refund me and not to worry. Thanking him for not having to drive all the way to Eastern (Henderson), I placed the same order but giving more tip (total now around $116). Got my food and thought things would work out as he said. Lo and behold both authorizations go through. After a few days, I came back to show him both went through. He took pictures of my receipt and statements on my credit card's app and told me he will send it to the manager to get it sorted out. Since I know it takes time, I gave it about a week and almost 2 weeks to see it processed, yet nothing happened. I came back to see him again and he looked at me and remembered why I was there and told me the owner is in India and I have to come back after Apr 16. I told him, how about just placing the same order I got and just credit me that way but he told me he still needs to get the owner's permission, took a picture of the receipt again. Came back Apr 19, and of course he remembers me but knows nothing has happened, took picture of the charges again and calls the owner and promises me it will be take care of in an hour. Guess what, nothing. It is now 2 days later, and nothing has happened. Well, they can have the money, but they just lost me as a customer. Although the food was good, it was not as good as Mt. Everest and I'll just take the extra drive knowing they seem to be trustworthy than this place. If you guarantee someone and tell them you will refund them if it doesn't work out, make sure you have the authority to do so. It is dishonest say that you will and then turn around and pawn it to the owner to make the decision. You said it right there and then. I even ask to just get the same order to make it easier rather than getting a refund. If you didn't want to refund me, you should not give me...
