Unfortunately, I had a bad experience today. I normally go thru the drive thru so I didn’t expect my experience with this place to be any different from what I expected from before.. I ordered rice for my wet burrito you can see from my previous picture what I got from this same order in the past. This time the rice was inside but distributed in a way where it was at the bottom of the burrito. So I am eating and find no rice. Now as mentioned last time it was on the side . To make a long story short the man was cocky and arrogant about my request for rice. I literally took a scoop out my burrito and no rice. He too a knife cut the bottom and Voila there was rice. A mystery solved in a destroyed burrito. He made another they but like two teaspoons of rice on the side. ( which is weird because it’s rice NOT EGGS) it cost a 1.29 for 16oz of rice and you charge $1.00 to add 2oz to a burrito 👀.So I decided to just go back in after I realized there was obviously a rice epidemic going on and I’ve been living in a cave. Well Jeses who helped me originally walks up with a stank face and attitude not realizing I just came in to order a side of rice and red sauce .. The entire experience sucked and when they served me my sauce they all giggled so I gave the food to the dog. 20 wasted dollars later. It’s the end of an era 😞 Don’t be an AA and complain or have a concern. They will treat you like black rotten Guac. Great service I wish I could tip the young man he was so helpful and friendly!! I had no cash next time I will be more prepared..Food was excellent!! Why pay for Del Taco whose prices are now the same ?? This is the real deal 🔥 I’💯💪🏽percent recommend!! I spent a bit over $12 bucks and have more food ❤️❤️❤️

While in Vegas, driving around, we ran into Roberto's Taco shop. I ordered chicken rolled tacos while the wife ordered a single traditional chicken taco. Both of our meals arrived hot. The rolled tacos were pretty basic and lacked much flavor, but at least were crispy. The shredded cheese they topped the rolled tacos with wasn't melted. The best part of my meal was the salsa, I liked both the red/roja and green/verde. My wife's taco looked really good, but unfortunately, it also lacked in flavor. The taco shell looked to have been cooked in-house. It was crispy and not oily. The price we paid was fair, especially for Vegas. Two of our friends ordered cheese enchiladas while another ordered a torta. One order of enchiladas arrived before the other. The first enchilada plate arrived with barely warm beans, and the cheese inside and outside of the enchiladas wasn't melted. The second order arrived with the beans that were very hot, yet the enchiladas cheese wasn't melted either. The enchiladas themselves were just a letdown. The sauce wasn't very good, and when coupled with unmelted cheese, it just made them hard to eat. We all shared a plate of nachos, which was a big letdown. The plate was loaded with plenty of chips and a decent amount of cheese. There again, the cheese was not melted. Warm chips with cold shredded cheese wasn't what we expected. Our friend that got the torta didn't dislike his meal, yet he wasn't impressed either. Overall, the food we had was mediocre at best. We all agreed we wouldn't return. I rated it as a two primarily because the service was decent.

This is the location that was deemed as " The first Roberto's in Las Vegas," but it's actually not. The first Roberto's in Las Vegas was at Maryland Parkway and Harmon behind a 7-eleven and it was demolished in the name of progress!! The decision was made to build a new one at the north end of Maryland Parkway in the historical district of Huntridge Park and it was one of the best moves in a very long time. This location has stuck to the values and standards of Roberto's when most others have slipped off the edge and let everything fall into that long list of places ' NOT TO GO!' I've seen the reviews of most Roberto's ( including this location ), and people have that right to say whatever they want to, but the ones that complain about the dumbest thing is more than likely Unhappy about the price or just mad at the world. If a mistake was made then take it back and have the establishment redo your meal! We went in and ordered two (2) number 21's and were not disappointed , the mountain of cheese and beans were in perfect proportion and the red sauce was spot on. Coming from San Diego, we look for food that is familiar with what we've been around our whole life and if it's not the same, then we won't go back, we'll let you know and just look for another place to get that comfort food. This is that comfort food place to bring back memories of home.
