If I could rate a zero I would. I walked into a smoking room after booking a non smoking room online with two little children. The manager/security guy says he is the only person here and will not contact the owner. He does not even have a number for him. He is dishonest. Within 15 minutes of walking into our room I approached management and he denied a refund and denied switching our room. It took me almost an hour to get a hold of the REAL manager or owner. I'm still not sure whom either of these men really are, but they are both highly unprofessional. Poor customer service. Probably the worst motel I've ever been to, and the most disrespectful men I've ever done business with. The first man was an older African American male just sitting outside smoking when we pulled up and after he checked my husband into the room he went right back to sitting in the same chair with another cigarette.. Writing review for time stamp to show the owner that I approached immediately. Now the man continued to approach our room about 3 times after he told me that he literally could not help me and I would have to contact the owner in the morning after 11am. I am furious. I have two babies and did not ask for a smoking room, nor did I book one. My husband accepted what they gave him and didnt argue. I went into the room and the smoking odor was so pungent it was literally enough to make me choke. We came in at 1130pm at night after driving all day and was charged $142 for a hole in the wall room that advertises free WIFI and HBO.... If you could get the TV to even work! It's a rip off and a joke. Don't waste your time or money. There is roaches in the bathroom tub. No smoke detectors. There was smeared blood in the bathtub and someone elses hair. The older man kept telling me it wasnt dirty in the room and the tv wasnt broken. He never went into our room to look. Just denied it endlessy, and had a nasty tone the entire time.. It took me 15 minutes to approach management because I took pictures and videos of the room. The bathroom The place is unsanitary. Doesn't appear the linens are even washed and the molding is falling apart on the walls... the electrical outlet looks like it caught fire. I will be sending pictures to the owner. I am soooo upset after traveling all day to spend my hard earned money at a place that is unsanitary, staff is rude and argues with you without looking at the proof.Update: After approaching the older man and him continuing to deny being able to contact the owner... He did wake up the owner. Whom I assume lives on the property? The older man came back to my room 3 times. Knocking. Saying I could contact owner tomorrow at 11am twice. Then the third time knocked to tell me I could speak with the manager and he was up front. I went up front and asked to switch rooms otherwise for a refund. He told me there were no refund, and we have already been in our room for 40 minutes at this point so he couldn't do anything for us. I was in the room for 40 minutes because old man refused to get management or a phone number for an owner!!!! The old man in front of management continued to be rude and argue with me and yell at me. Even in front of customers!! At that point I pulled out my phone and showed them the pictures and videos. Then the manager agreed to have the older man get me a new room. Because he seen the hair, blood in the bathtub and told me it was rust... I will post these pictures, you be the judge! There was a live cockroach under the bed too. Pictured too. For $50 bucks I could see getting this room. But even $50 isnt worth bringing home cockroach pets.. Don't waste your time money here, your better off paying the extra 50 bucks and going to a nice hotel on the strip. These guys are highway robbery with there jank motel and no cleaning. OYO Hotels has acquired these run down motel properties and continues to rent rooms out here when they KNOW that these properties are dilapidated, old and run down. They should be ASHAMED of themselves for even keeping this property and the one down the street open. The bed was at least 15 years old, the blankets were old and stained, the room smelled horrible and the manager went in and sprayed some Odor Ban in the room to mask the horrible smell! The bathroom had mold and broken tiles in it. Words just cannot describe how bad this room looked. After he sprayed the room, I could not even stay in it because of the fumes! I spent about an hour walking up and down Las Vegas Blvd looking for another room and when I found one, I returned to this property and told them there was NO WAY I was staying in that room. I turned in the key and left. I was also charged a mysterious $50 "admin feee" when I checked in although the room had been prepaid online. I was told I would "only" be charged $20 for the deposit which was usually $100. FOR THIS DUMP?!?! I have contacted OYO Hotels and they say I cannot get a refund. I booked a non-smoking king room for a weekend. I showed up and the room was dirty, smelled strongly of cannabis and cigarette smoke, the shower was moldy, and generally very run down. It did not match the pictures AT ALL. We weren't able to get into our room for a few minutes because there was a group of drunk people parked in front blocking the doorway.
I checked in, saw the state of the room, and went back to the front desk to ask if there were other rooms available as ours was not acceptable. I was told no, but that I could get a refund of I didn't want to stay there.
We had booked through Expedia so the lady at the front desk said we would have to talk with Expedia to get our refund.
When I called Expedia, they said they would have to get permission from the motel. They called, and the motel refused to issue the refund. So now I'm out $230 for a motel we were on the property for 5 minutes.
The only way this motel is able to stay afloat is by scamming customers with their misleading photos and poor business practices.
