I admit. I may not be the best person to review this place. I am more partial to dive bar type places. Like the huntridge tavern, across the street. I thought I would pop in for an adult beverage. When you walk in the front door. You are in a long, narrow outdoor courtyard. On the left is a room with seating, a pool table, and a dart board. It's a good overflow space. But unless it's busy or you want to play pool. The only reason to go in that space is to use the very clean bathroom. On the right side of the courtyard is the bar. And table seating. I had a white Russian ($11 compared to $7 at the huntridge Tavern). It was a fair cocktail. The bartender used something other than kalhua. Gave it a different taste. Not bad. It's just different. The people there were more professional types. Everyone seemed friendly. They have food as well. $16 for a burger kind of prices. It will run you at least $20 if you grab a bite. The good. Non-smoking place. A HUGE PLUS in my book. There is no gaming here as well. Which, for me, who tends to play too much when I sip. It's probably better. The not so good: No jukebox. The music was a tad loud if it's not your taste of music. I'm 62. So, it's not my style. Overall, it's OK. Not a place I feel a burning desire to get back to. If you like the PT's kind of place with no smoking/gaming. You probably would give it a...
Read moreThis place was everything I want in a bar. The staff was great. When we entered we were greeted by the 2 bartenders (Taylor and Josh) i think, lol. Sorry this was 2 weeks ago, just got busy. She was very accommodating and knew the menu well. She had obviously tasted the menu and was a big fan. The cocktails were tasty and original. Now to the food. One of the reasons I was drawn was the chicago style hot dog which did not disappoint. So often places claim to have them but then it is some bastardized version. But this was the real deal down to the sport peppers which are so hard to find outside of Chicago. I even really appreciated their take on chopping up all the fixing into one super condiment, really took it to a whole new level. We also shared a short rib sando which was out of this world. At the end of our evening we met a new bartender who for the life of me I can't remember his name (to many cocktails by then) but he was super cool and as we have just moved to the area gave us a few other places to try. This was a major win for us and we will be...

The food was absolutely amazing! We indulged in smash burgers that were juicy and full of flavor, a Chicago dog that was perfectly crafted, and cheese fries that were a delightful indulgence. And let's not forget Momâs dessertâwhat a treat! We even had the pleasure of meeting Mom herself, which added a personal touch to our visit.
The cocktails were a highlight of the night! I tried the âTake It In the Canâ and the âBonneville,â both of which were incredibly creative and well-balanced. Our bartender, Adam, was a rock starâhis recommendations were spot on, and he made sure our glasses were always full.
To top it all off, the bar has a pool table and darts, making it the perfect spot to hang out and have fun with friends. Whether you're looking for delicious food, innovative drinks, or just a lively place to unwind, this bar is a must-visit! Can't wait...
