I've come here several times, to order food to-go, and each experience has been worst than the last. This time, I ordered my "usual", and sat down to wait, while being stared at by a group of 20-something year olds, who were clearly friends of the workers. Little did they all know, I understand Spanish. I've also worked in the restaurant/food service industry since I was a young teenager, both front and back of the house. I have worked nearly every position within a restaurant myself, and try to give people the benefit of the doubt. But this restaurant is horrific! I didn't even want to keep count of the number of health code violations I could see, and the customer service is beyond terrible. I ordered carne asada fries, at about 4am, while literally no one else was waiting on their order. After waiting 10 minutes, I began to look around, wondering what was talking so long. I've cooked in several restaurants, I know how long fries and carne asada take to prepare fresh. The cook and cashier had been messing around on their phones, talking to each other, the entire time. Another customer walked in, ordered a burrito, and received their food in under five minutes. Then, 19 minutes after ordering, I finally was given my food. Which I discovered, upon arriving home, were extremely undercooked, covered in carne asada that was clearly not fresh. I had to put it all in my oven just to cook it enough to be edible. I live right around the corner, so travel time was not a factor. This was incompetence, carelessness, disrespect, and quite frankly offensive behavior on their part. You all had potential, but three strikes and you're out. And I tipped over 30% every single time, out of respect for fellow service industry workers.. and yet all I witnessed was...
Read moreWhen I first moved there from California I was so excited to know they were in Vegas. Worst I ever had. The red sauce was not as hot and didn't have the same flavor but, worst of all they gave me sprinkles of Carne asada so I took it back inside to let them know. They remade it the exact same way 😥 I gave up. I gave it to a homeless person so it ended up being a blessing to someone in need but for me... I don't feel they should call themselves Tacos Mexico. They don't deserve the title. Idk if they ran out of meat that day and didn't want to say or what. Needless to say I moved back to Cali and ate at the Real Tacos Mexico 3 days in a role!!! That's how much I missed the real thing. But, take your chances if you want. Just don't throw it out give it to someone who is not able to eat regularly. Trust you will want to throw it out. Also very long wait only 4 people ahead of me the first time. Barely no one during the remake yet, still took extremely long. I wait 10 to 15 min. Top in Cali even while busy...
Read moreThis place use to be a great place to eat years ago but now is not. The food was average, the prices went up alot and they charge you extra if your paying with a debit card. I just order the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans and I must admit I was disappointed with the portion and the bland flavor. The Quesadilla was simple, the chicken had no flavor or seasoning and it felt like I was eating more tortilla than chicken and cheese. Than the rice and bean was like a small spoon scoop that you can eat with two bites and worst part of all they charged me 14 dollar for this plate with a coke. I'm sorry but even a chain restaurant like Roberto or Don Tortaco has way better food at a way cheaper price. Please save your money and go somewhere else. You can even get a delicious dish at Bonito Michoacán for 14 dollars with better portion and flavor plus free chips and salsa. Never...
