Rubio's Coastal Grill — Restaurant in Las Vegas

When I first moved to Las Vegas from the northeast I was so happy to find Rubio's because it is healhty-ish and tasty fast food. I order and pick up from this location frequently. It seems that every other experience is good and every other experience is bad. The food quality is inconsistent including the size of the meals and the proportion of ingredients. I have had perfect meals and meal that it seems they added way too much spice or salt or a salad soggy and drowning in dressing.

I had the most horrible experience yesterday. I placed an order at home on my laptop and then immediately left to drive the 5 minutes to pick it up. A screen most definitely came up confirming my order was received to be ready at 5:15pm. I arrived there about 5:07 and was waiting there about 5 minutes when someone asked me who the order was for. I gave my name. After about 5 minutes (5:17), they asked me my name again. I was told that there was no order with that name. The staff then proceeded to ignore me, avoiding eye contact for about 10 minutes. I really could not believe it but with all these stupid "Karen" videos now, a woman cannot speak up anymore when service is bad.

I was finally able to get their attention again and was just told there was no order. It still took about another 5 minutes until "the manager" came out to speak with me. Even then, he just told me there was no order and did not try to resolve the issue. It took another couple of minutes until I had to ASK if I could place my order. I spent about 25 minutes in the store. If I did not have points I had to use I would have just left but I did not want to miss out on my rewards. Only the guy who was obviously new gave me a quiet apology. To top all this off, the langostino bowl I received was not prepared as described...

I love Taco Tuesday's; my boyfriend and I have made it a tradition. This is my favorite Rubios location I've visited around the valley. I've had a good chunk of the items on the menu and everything is consistently fresh and delicious. The service from the staff is always wonderful. I don't have a single complaint/critique. There is a gentleman that I see here often, I believe he is the manager and he's awesome! He almost single handedly manages the front of house, taking orders, bringing food to each and every table, maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant, soda machines and the stock of the salsa bar. He is professional and polite and makes sure to greet every single person that walks through the door. I know I'm in good hands when I see him at the counter, and when he's not because he's taking care of something else he acknowledges me and is with me...

(1st TIME TRYING) Got the trio plate 2 fish 1 shrimp taco and a coke in glass. Shrimp was flavorless and little overcooked 5.1/10 Fish taco was 6.8/10 but pretty good.

Ran out of my coke while eating so I asked for water cup and the cashier cuts off the ice and drinks on me thinking I was trying to get free soda or something. So had to go back to the register to ask for ice and he turned it back on just long enough for me to get half cup of ice then cut it off on me.(NOT THE HOSPITALITY YOUR LOOKING FOR WHEN GOING OUT TO EAT AT A BUSINESS ESTABLISHMENT AND BEING A PAYING CUSTOMER)

Got the water but didn't drink because the water had some contaminates floating in it that i could see. I was pretty much done eating so I just trashed everything and left. Also very rare for me to do a review like this. Your better off going too del taco for fish and...
