[Above all, will I be back?] An less known Italian spot for Korean community in the middle of Las Vegas. The Sicilian cold sub from the deli was underwhelming but I would like to give it another try for restaurant foods and happy hour.
Food We ordered from both the Deli and the restaurant.
Deli: Sicilian cold sub This was mentioned a lot in reviews so I had to try. It was very plain. Nothing special.
Restaurant Caprese Salad The cheese was served in as a whole ball so had to cut it by myself which was not amazingly good flavor. A ball of cheese, 4 slices of tomato with two basil leaves and balsamic sauce. The portion should be more for a $18.5 dish (see my picture).
Negroni It was good, I wanted to try due to tiktok video lol It was herby and bitter but orange peel and the sweet vermouth made up for it. cool.
Ambience Feels like I was in Italy! I had a pleasant weekend afternoon at this place. It is a large place with a combination of a deli, a bar and a restaurant section. Insta worthy place. Customers are older side. There is a little wine and hard liquor cellar.
Restaurant & bar The restaurant part is upscale and classy atmosphere with a large bar and a little stage for live music. It is good for a date or anniversary. Booth, tables and high tables. A fenced patio with about 10 tables.
Deli Casual and mom & pop vibe with a few tables you can grab a bite and go. Well stocked with a lot of Italian products like jars, cans, pasta, cheese, olives, bolognaise etc. The staff was friendly and nice!
Service Service was fantastic! The host was friendly and quickly found us a table in patio. The wait staff was went beyond and above! He kept checking on us if there is anything needed, constantly filled up the water. I would give him 20 stars out of 10!!!
Hygiene Plates, cups, glasses, tables and the floor, everything was clean.
Price Not cheap, average for a upscale Italian restaurant but the portion could have been more.
Restroom :Very pretty to take photos lol Looks modern and luxurious with marble pattern tiles. It was clean and well maintained. Gender separated.
Location It is located in Peccole Ranch Summerlin, near Sahara West Library, La Quinta Inn and Ashley Store.
Parking There was a plenty of parking.
ETC Happy Hour: 3p-7p for drinks and appetizers Live music: Wednesday-Saturday after 8pm Dogs are not allowed in patio Make a reservation for busy hours
First of all I would like to thank Siena Italian Trattoria and Yelp for this event back in May. The staff was so great and helpful , excellent service. The decor is very nice and the live band was a nice touch for the evening. Kayla as always did a great job of putting everything together and making it a good night. The establishment is upscale Italian and Seafood. I unfortunately am not a fan of seafood , but everything was displayed nicely and presented well.
The Paccheri Contadina , sausage and peppers , was my favorite. The extra large tube shaped pasta was a little more al dente than I prefer. The Pizza with Nduja and Stracciatella was really good. This was the first time I had Nduja and I had to look it up to see what it was , spicy pork. I could definitely taste the red pepper and I would definitely recommend both of these to someone. Insalata Mista Salad was very good also. One thing that wasn't on the list was presented just before dessert and I think it was like Osco Busco without the bone. It was super tender and flavorful. There was a nice selection of desserts at the end and I really liked the one that they pour like espresso on it. It was really sweet and you definitely need to share with someone.
I was looking forward to the Pollo Alla Romana , chicken , but it was kind of just okay. Not what I was expecting. The mashed potatoes in it was very good. As far as the Seafood Dishes , as I said I don't really care for seafood. I did try a bite of the octopus , which I've had when I visited Greece in the 80's , but again not a fan. I did like the presentation. The Jumbo Shrimp was presented also very very nice and others really liked it. If my son would've been with me , I'm sure he would've loved them especially being stuffed with crab meat. The Petite Assortment as an appetizer was very cool looking , picture perfect. I liked one of the cheeses , not sure what it was , I think it had red wine in it. The two meats were pretty good , I preferred the lighter one.
I'm not really a fancy Italian Food guy , more of a Meat or Vegetable Lasagna kind of guy. Chicken Parmesan is one of my favorites also. Of course everyone loves pizza. Spumoni for dessert is great too. My son would've loved your Cheesecake also. I would recommend to others for a special date night dinner with...
Read moreI came here to enjoy my birthday but ended up having an allergic reaction. I am vegetarian and I have a lot of allergies so when going out I am very simple when it comes to food. I have eaten at tons of Italian restaurants and have never had any issues. I have tasted many Alfredo dishes and never had any issues. I go into this restaurant yesterday evening and order Alfredo, it is my signature dish. It’s kind of like getting chicken tenders and playing it safe. I ordered two orders for myself one for dine in and one for carry out. The waiter brings out my food and I am starving so I begin digging in. I immediately notice that the pasta tastes like sweet potatoes, I turn to my friend and I ask, “doesn’t this taste like sweet potato pie”? She agrees with me that the Alfredo indeed does taste like sweet potato pie. I’m already thinking I don’t like the dish, because I don’t like for my food to taste like another food. I continued to eat it because it had been over 8 hours since my last meal and I was hungry and I don’t like to waste food nor money. As a few moments go by my throat starts feeling very funny. I’m thinking in my head what could it be, and I think the Alfredo tastes like sweet potato pie, what is the key ingredient most people use in the sweet potato pie. NUTMEG! I am allergic to nutmeg, and I ask the waiter was there nutmeg in the pasta sauce, he replied with yes. I told him I was allergic to nutmeg and need the check to pay so I could leave immediately. I hand him my card before seeing the bill, so it could spend up the payment process, he brings back my card and the receipt and he charged me for the pasta I didn’t finish, as well the one I bought to go, along with my friends meal. I didn’t have time to for to ask them to deduct my meals from the check since I was unable to eat them because I was having an allergic reaction and my health is more important than money. I woke up this morning and my throat is still partially swollen and a bit still hard to breathe. I don’t recommend this place unless you want your Alfredo to taste like a...
