âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸âď¸ Baby Bird CafĂŠ at The Lakes is such a gem! You sit by the water with this calm, pretty view, and it honestly doesnât even feel like Las Vegas â more like a little lakeside getaway. The atmosphere is peaceful, the staff is warm, and nothing feels rushed.
đĽ Food: The avocado toast with poached egg was perfection â thick artisan bread piled high with fresh avocado and a perfectly cooked egg. Itâs not a dainty snack; itâs a full, satisfying meal, beautifully plated with greens on the side. The Thai Summer Rolls with peanut sauce were light, crisp, and bursting with flavor â everything tastes garden-fresh, and the peanut sauce is rich and homemade.
âď¸ Drinks: The cappuccino was oversized, creamy, and topped with lovely latte art â absolutely beautiful presentation. The chai latte was fragrant and comforting, served in a big mug that makes you want to linger.
⨠Extras: Portions are generous, the plating is gorgeous, and you can tell they really care about quality. Itâs easy to relax here â sip your drink, enjoy the lake view, and soak in the calm.
Bottom line: Beautifully presented food, fresh ingredients, and a cozy lakeside vibe. The avocado toast, cappuccino, chai latte, and Thai rolls are all must-tries. My new favorite brunch spot in...
Read moreYesterday was my first and last time visiting this place. Ordered a regular coffee and Raspberry oat cookie. Coffee was cold the server could not even careless, asked her twice, this coffee is cold, she claimed it was the cream, takes the pot back, claims this is freshly brewed and hot, and brings back a warmed up cup. This time I decided to poor the coffee in my spoon and try, ut was COLD. All this time we mentioned we also ordered a cookie oh it's in the oven she says. I went to someone else behind the counter and told him, NOW they brought a hot cup of coffee 3 times, I mentioned to him about the cookie, the so claimed cookie in the oven also is cold, 20 minutes going back and forth. Every time I also had to ask for sweetener, coffee shop that doesn't put sugar on the table for patrons. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. At 2:30 pm variety of pastry were 2 donuts and the oatmeal cookie. I will go back to my regular place Manoon bakery, hot coffee, variety of pastries, good service. Also when I called to ask for direction the girl who answered hung up, I get a good feeling it was the person who...
Read moreFood safety concerns!! However Hands down, an amazing bakery. The selections are delicious, fresh, and versatile. Their lattes are outstanding, and while the sandwiches and breakfast items are just okay, the true stars are the pastries.
That said, my review focuses on food safety handling. Iâve visited this location twice. The first time, I sat near the coffee station for about 30 minutes and noticed milk containers (whole, 2%, and others) sitting out in the open â not on ice or in any type of refrigerated setup. I understand theyâre busy, but even Starbucks constantly rotates milk back into refrigeration. Thankfully, I had ordered a milk substitute for my latte.
I mentioned it to a manager, who promptly discarded the milk, which showed great awareness and respect for food safety. However, when I returned about three weeks later, I saw the same issue again. I politely mentioned it to the manager by my table and explained that, as much as I love their pastries, Iâd hesitate to return. Seeing milk left out that long makes me question what might be happening...
