If you’re looking for a top notch engagement ring shopping experience with reasonable pricing, go to The Diamond Store in person and meet in with Terri and Birko :)

I 100% recommend The Diamond Store over the big chains (Brilliant Earth, Blue Nile, James Allen, etc). Before going to The Diamond Store we went to a Brilliant Earth showroom and a Blue Nile showroom in AZ after looking on the websites. The customer experiences at both store fronts were lack luster overall (slightly pushy sales, basic settings without much room for customization, limited sizes of diamonds to try on in the show room, not being able to see actual diamond options in store, etc). At The Diamond Store we came in and were greeted by Terri, one of the wonderful store workers, and later Birko (the store owner). They were so kind and met us where we were at in what had turned into a long and tiring search for the perfect ring over the previous few months. I had the type of setting I wanted in mind (3 stone with a round center) and they a few options for side stone shapes which I loved. I also got to see real diamonds in store to choose from and seeing their quality in real life was so much better/less stressful than staring at zoomed in photos of diamonds online. With the online retailers I also wasn’t able to pick my own side stones but was assured that I could at The Diamond Store so the quality of the diamonds in my ring would all be the same. This was so awesome since I love 3 stone settings and I think having all the diamonds be the same quality made a huge difference in the look and sparkle of my ring. The setting and diamond selection were very reasonably priced compared to the pricing of the retailers I listed earlier, which was another huge plus. The ring was also made locally in Las Vegas and didn’t need any shipping which eased our anxiety that we had thinking about ordering a ring online. My ring took 6-8 weeks total to be made (can’t remember the full specifics), but I got to come in and also pick out my side stones in person which was so special and made it extra exciting. After picking out the ring and stones, Terri only talked with my fiancĂ©e and he said they were great about keeping him in the loop with updates. I love my ring so much, it turned out so perfect and the diamonds SPARKLE. I love getting to wear it every day. They also resized it for free when it needed to fit a bit more snug which I greatly appreciated. Plus they let us know we could bring the ring to them anytime to drop off and be cleaned which is a great perk. We called the extra times we went into the store to coordinate with Terri a good time to come in and it was super easy, everyone at the store is so kind and accommodating.

Overall the quality of my ring and the customer service we received from The Diamond Store were wonderful and I’m so thankful to have found such a great local business. Browsing some of their other jewelry was very fun each time we went in and they have beautiful necklaces/other rings/etc in store. Birko said his goal is to find customers who he will be their family jeweler for life and he definitely found that in us. I am so thankful to have found The Diamond Store when engagement ring shopping and look forward to buying more pieces from them...

If I could give zero stars, I absolutely would. My fiancé and I initially had a great experience with this jeweler when we began designing a custom engagement ring. They were friendly, responsive, and appeared trustworthy. We started out looking for a 3.5-4.5 carat earth diamond in the $70,000 range. When my fiancé wasn't able to proceed with that specific stone, the jeweler suggested a lab-grown diamond instead -- without my knowledge. They ultimately sold him a 5 carat lab diamond ring (D VSI1) for $57,000 with a natural earth diamond setting. We were offered only $900 for the WHOLE ring by another reputable jeweler. The ring is undeniably beautiful -- but this lab diamond has never been worth anywhere near that price. Even at its highest market value, lab diamonds are a fraction of what we paid. My fiancé had no experience with diamonds and trusted the jeweler to educate and guide us honestly. Instead, we were grossly misled. When we later tried to resell the ring, multiple jewelers informed us it was worth no more than $700-$1,000. Every single jeweler we consulted was shocked -- one even said in 30+ years of business, they had never seen someone taken advantage of to this extent. To make matters worse, when we first approached this jeweler about reselling it, they told us they'd display it in their case. After months with no update, we returned to find the ring sitting in the back. They are refusing to honor their own statement that we'd receive at least 20% back. This isn't about buyer's remorse -- we honestly feel exploited and severely taken advantage of. The showroom is beautiful, but it's designed to distract from what's really happening: massive overpricing and deceptive sales tactics. Please, learn from our mistake. We lost over $60k to this jeweler. They have done nothing to make it right. There are many reputable jewelers in town -- this is not one of them in our opinion. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the heartbreak. Do not trust...

Wow! I had spent months shopping for the perfect engagement ring and continuously was being ‘sold’ into something that wasn’t quite what I was looking for. I wanted a custom, unique piece and I had very specific dimensions that I was looking for in a diamond. I had visited 15+ other stores over the last 4 months and had very little success in finding what I wanted. I had almost given up thinking that I would find “THE Ring” until I happened to walk into The Diamond Store.

From the moment I walked in when I was greeted by Birko and Daniel I knew that I was in excellent hands. The selection at The Diamond Store was outstanding and when I wanted design changes made to the ring itself, they were met with enthusiasm rather than telling me what they couldn’t do. The store itself was stunning as well, but I guess that’s not the point.

Once I had gotten the ring.. I was in absolute shock at how perfect it truly was. Better than what I had ever hoped for. The design, the setting and the stone were far more gorgeous than any ring I had seen before and I truly was stunned. My fiancé and I find ourselves staring at it all the time.

From start to finish I had an amazing experience and I can’t imagine shopping elsewhere for jewelery at this point. Definitely a Can’t-Miss location if you’re in the market...
