So a lot of truck drivers frequent this location because itās accessible to trucks but every time Iām in this Lathrop area and I stop hereā¦. The restaurant and the bathrooms are completely nasty. Old food on the floor. The restrooms not being clean. The trash cans are overfilled. The employees look so disgruntled.
And to top it off, it felt like it was 80° in there. It felt like they were being very conservative with the air conditioning. Man who look like he was Baltic or something or other came through and immediately went to the back. He look like he was either an owner or had some stake in the location . Anyways, he came in and fooled with the volume of the music and looked around and then left.
I think chipotleās biggest problem is that their publicly traded. Theyārenot like In-N-Out or Chick-fil-A. I say that because with all the scrutiny that theyāve been getting the portions of protein are still very small. I didnāt have the energy to ask her for another half scoop because her manager was right next to her and she probably wouldāve gotten written up for her customer, happy. I donāt believe the employees are bad people but when youāre environment and the higher-ups are not but moneygrubbing cheapskates itās kind of hard to come to work with a smile every day.
I rarely eat at chipotle anymore. Last week I had Qdoba twice and Iām telling you, the guy couldnāt put enough on my plate. The first thing he said was. ā¦.ā bro we are not chipotleā!!! we know that if we feed you right, youāll come back
Itās very unfortunate that these fast food restaurants are not getting the big picture in economy like we have. Qdoba is just not big enough, but if they were big enough and found some investment and opened up locations near chipotle, they would put chipotle out of business
Very disappointed...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWell, this is a huge complaint, on more than one frustrating experience. My coworkers all wanted Chipotle for supper tonight. They mess my order up nearly EVERY time, so I hesitated to join in. Someone helped me do my order, and I got the shaft, AGAIN. Immediately, I notice that my bowl is so light, compared to the others, as I was helping to pass the meals out to everyone. I ordered a steak bowl, with no rice, no beans, lettuce, corn, salsa, cheese, sour cream and double steak. My bowl was more than half empty, barely had ANY meat. I counted the tiny meat fragments because it blew my mind. This order was almost $20!! It was mostly corn and salsa. It also was soaked thru the bottom of my bowl and was a huge mess as well as a huge disappointment. I think I'm done with Chipotle. These photos are my actual meal. I mixed it all up and u can see what I got. I say don't do it, if you're considering it. Also, here's the kicker. When u call them and make a complaint, they tell u that they're taking your information and that they are going to do an investigation. They say if they find that there was an error, they will refund u. They also say that they have 60 to 90 days to "conduct this investigation". So buyer beware. I ordered my food online and my boss went there physically, to avoid other issues in the past, which helps, but doesn't solve the issue. Thank you for...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI typically enjoy chipotle and I had high hopes for this one. I even rolled my eyes at some of the other reviews. They were dashed unfortunately. I got a salad with chicken, beans, salsa, fajita veggies and a side of queso and chips. The order was correct and the gentleman at the window was friendly. The chicken was cooked but bland and oddly really cold. Maybe itās because cold stuff was put on top? The romaine lettuce had been frozen (Iāve worked food service for years, I know what frozen lettuce looks like) mixed with spinach (not my favorite but better than frozen lettuce). The fajita veggies were barely cooked. I donāt mind some crunchy but the onions were straight up raw and bitter, not exactly fajita veggies. I never write reviews and I already feel whiney writing this. I gave 3 stars because it wasnāt horrible (although I did throw most of it away) and the queso was really good and fresh, the order was completely correct (including the sour cream on the side) and the service was fast and friendly. My real gripe is that Iām paying a decent amount of money for something that is pretty simple to put together and I can make it taste better if I cook it myself for cheaper. I may give them another chance when produce is more in season, but I also may just decide to make it myself rather than waste my time and money going to pick up food Iām going to...
