The place itself is actually very cute and fun. I'd never been, my husband insisted we go try the churros at "The Churro Spot". We ordered a churro filled with caramel and my kids wanted the Sampler which are 6, 2 inch long churros filled with each of their fillings. Cost for the sampler is almost $6 and for both the churro and sampler we spent $11 or $12 dollars.
Their "flavor of the month" was pumpkin. I asked the girl if one of the fillings was pumpkin and she said yes and I told her I didn't want that and to please fill it with another flavor. She rudely said that they didn't do that, that they were left with no filling if you didnt want a certain flavor.
If I'm paying for 6 miniature churros to be filled I want them FILLED. Their excuse on their Facebook page to another review I read about someone complaining they left 2 of their churros without filling and cold was "because of the demand we don't substitute". Today, while we waited for 10 minutes for our churros, there was NO demand. No one waiting but us. Never have I gone to a place where I pay for food that they haven't been able to accommodate their customer so they leave happy. I wanted filling, I didn't want the pumpkin one to end up in the garbage because I PAID $1 for this 2 inch thing. They want recommendations... yet they let their customers walk away upset. Don't go there. The service wasn't good and when you are super happy and craving a certain something and you go and they can't make it that way...why go back? Two thumbs down. Won't ever go back because of that policy. I want what I want if I'm paying you my hard earned cash. Also, bad customer service, you need to supervise...

We tried the Nepalese truck and had the fried chicken momo's. These are delicious - hot, fried fresh, juicy chicken filling. They come with 2 sauces, one super hot and the other milder, which really enhances the flavor of the momo's. This truck serves great food!
We also tried the Hawaiian BBQ truck. Hubby had the spicy salmon poke bowl. The salmon was NOT spicy, and the rice and cucumber slices were not seasoned. The seaweed salad was the dish's saving grace. I had the kahlua pork plate. The Mac salad was good. The rice was a bit wet and mushy, with no flavor. The kahlua pork was dry and flavorless. I also had the Spam musubi. It comes 2 to an order. The Spam was a sliver of a slice, very thin for the amount of rice it sits on. Instead of teriyaki sauce, they spread (Kewpie?) mayo on top of the rice with furikaki. I didn't like this preparation. Again, it lacked flavor. This was my first time trying this truck. Don't let the pretty plates fool you! I didn't like the food, and the prices are a bit high, so I do expect better. I'm one and done. There are lots of other tricks...
Read moreGreat food options to choose from. Atmosphere is affected by the rainy days but there's plenty of seating. We visited two food trucks and were not disappointed. We went to "The hot tender station" and "Charlys" mexican food. The wait varies between 15 to 20 minutes for any food truck when it's not too busy. Not sure if the wait time increases when there's more people but it's definitely worth the wait to give these places a try.
At the tender station we got the Nash and tender fries loaded up with pickles, coleslaw, chicken pieces, Mac and cheese and fries. You can choose your spice level. We got medium, ehich wasn't spicy. The only thing about it is that they don't put much chicken in there.
At Charles we got a a regular carne asada burrito for $9 and a chicken tinga quesadilla for $11. Both were packed with flavor. I would've definitely sat down and ate there if it was drizzling. The portions are huuuge. We split both and couldn't...
