Oshake Bar & Grill is a venue that shows promise with a modern and visually appealing aesthetic, hinting at what could be a vibrant gathering spot for the community. Unfortunately, my experiences on both the first and second visits left much to be desired, particularly in terms of service, consistency, and overall value. To begin with, the bar program is significantly lacking. Despite premium pricing, the drinks served were below standard. Simple cocktails such as a Long Island Iced Tea and a Whiskey Sour were returned three times due to poor preparation. The Long Island tasted more like a flat soda than a balanced cocktail. Although we addressed the issue with management, the proposed resolution was delivered shots to the table. This did little to restore confidence in the establishment's ability to deliver a quality beverage experience. Equally frustrating was the lack of menu availability. I anticipated trying the Jerk Chicken sushi Rolls, which were listed, but, disappointingly, not available on both visits. If items can not consistently be offered, they should be removed from the menu to manage guest expectations. Staffing also appeared to be an issue. There were only two waitresses on duty, one of whom served our table and did an excellent job under pressure. However, the bartender's skills level was not aligned with the demands of a cocktail-focused venue. Despite these issues, I genuinely hoped to support a local business and see it flourish. However, continued inconsistencies in service, drink quality, and menu execution suggest that without significant improvements, Oshake Bar & Grill may struggle to become a long-term staple in the community. I am currently sitting at the bar of the restaurant. This is my first time in the establishment. Great esthetic! Unfortunately, the service is severely lacking. A part of the promotion for the night advertised drink specials. I've been here over an hour and every bar tender I've spoken with said only the manager, named Goddess, knows the drink specials and she didn't inform the staff what they were.

When Goddess finally arrived at the venue and I asked to speak with her to find out the drink specials as well as voice my concerns regarding the staff not being informed of the offerings for the night, she was very dismissive. Her, "And okay.. so what?" attitude was uncalled for and extremely rude. This will be my first and last time at an establishment that doesn't respect its patrons, their time, OR their money. This establishment exudes a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, making it an ideal location for socializing and unwinding. During our visit, we opted to indulge in a selection of beverages and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The venue's choice of old school reggae music further enhanced the ambiance.
