Honestly I’m a regular. I’m there once a week and i’ve always thought this location could use a lot of work. Today was the worst i’ve seen it or at least the most it’s annoyed me to be reporting it. Came in and as usual was not greeted. Waited 7-10 minutes at the front and still had not been acknowledged. In the time I was waiting I had watched, what looked to be a manager (he was a male) in a collared shirt with all top buttons on his shirt open… gross, i did not want to see anyone’s chest as they are taking orders and making food. Then as im still waiting along with 4 others who were also waiting and not being acknowledged, I watched the young man on the to-go order side playing around with the thought to be manager. They were engaging in horse play and were very unprofessional. The manager even had a metal scoop in his hand as he was checking out the customers in line. He’s halfway checking them out and halfway playing. Using the scoop that was in his hand, he puts his hand behind his back and looks like he is either rubbing the scoop on his back or using it to itch it. He then hits the man working on the to-go line with the same spoon playfully. Then returns to checking people out. Later another employee hops on the togo line and this manager hands the spoon to that employee and the employee uses it! The same spoon that he had been using to scratch his back. That’s disgusting. While i’m watching this happen i grow tired of not being acknowledged and approach the man at takeout to see my online order there and ready. If you have multiple people hovering in your area, why not 1. approach them 2. knowledge them to show your interest and customer care 3. ask what they are waiting on… this could improve customer care in so many ways and would help to clear the line of online orders. We order online so food is ready when we get there. Not to wait 10 mins plus. If I wanted to do that i’d order in person. The restaurant is always always always dirty, every week i go. Doesn’t matter the time or day, its gross in there. I come because the food is good and filing but seeing them use the very spoon they use for ingredients as a back scratcher really disgusts me in every sense. Truly, as a customer service manager I understand certain things but this is...
Read moreI have been coming to this location since I moved to sunrise 7 years ago, and sadly this location has fallen, and fallen far.
First, I went at 6:00pm today. Walked in and the dining room was mostly empty with two people working the line, one gentleman working the To-go station. As I was ordering, the lady informed me that steak needed to be cut. No biggie, maybe it had just been finished. The second person on the line, a taller gentleman with dreads in a hat was being extremely rude to the lady helping me and other customers. Very short with her, asking her about what order you put the food containers in a bag (there was a salad in the order, I assume that has something to do with it). The man was practically yelling at the lady when she said "it doesn't matter really." I decided not to wait on the steak, the manager was in view of the situation, did not cut the steak or offer to do so. The rude staff member in dreads said "I ain't do the steak, I ain't gonna'" to that effect. I ordered a bowl, salad bowl and burrito. The food was okay, not the worst but definitely a tad bit drier than normal. I was also not given a receipt or salad dressings. The worker in dreads was the one cashing me out, to which he then was arguing with the lady staff member about having to check/cash out customers. He didn't seem like he wanted to be there.
Won't be coming back to this location, one off of Sunrise BLVD is run with much more friendlier staff. Wanted to leave a review on the receipt so corporate could see it, hopefully they check...
Read moreOne Star — Absolutely Horrible Customer Service
My sister and I just visited this Chipotle location, and I can confidently say it was one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant. The two women working the line were incredibly rude and dismissive from the moment we stepped up.
For context, I absolutely love Chipotle — it’s always been my go-to restaurant. I know what to expect and what good service looks like. But this visit was beyond disappointing.
My sister ordered a steak bowl, and the portion she was given was laughable — maybe 10 small pieces of steak, if that. When she politely asked for more, the employee snapped back with attitude, saying, “That’s double,” and then proceeded to scoop a few more scraps on top that barely even qualified as a regular serving, let alone a double.
Both employees acted like serving us was a massive inconvenience, rolling their eyes and speaking with clear irritation. There was zero professionalism, zero courtesy, and a complete lack of basic respect for customers.
To make matters worse, neither employee was wearing a name tag, so we weren’t even able to identify who they were to report them directly. That says a lot, honestly.
If I wanted to be treated like a nuisance for simply ordering food, I’d go anywhere else. This visit was unacceptable, and whoever is managing this location seriously needs to address how their staff speaks to and treats paying customers. We will not be returning to...
