I give it 3 stars because they didn’t have many cocktails to chose from (literally only have 1 mojito), they only had 2 out of all the pressed juices available, and there seemed to be some sort of dispute with my change of order. We got there around 8:30, there was 1 hostess, 1 waitress, 1 cook, 1 sushi maker, 1 dish person (I assumed he was), and 2 other couples seated at the time with 2 more coming in later. I imagine the waitress was a little flustered with it being close to closing time and still having to clean up and help the hostess process online orders. Our food was good nonetheless but I ended up wanting to change my Tuna steak for the Salmon because it tasted better on my dates plate, so I asked for a change while also explaining that there was nothing wrong, I just preferred the taste of the salmon over the tuna. She kindly brought it back to the cook explaining to him what I verbalized but there seemed to be some push back from the cook as I could clearly hear her repeatedly explaining to him that I preferred the salmon, repeatedly saying “please”, and him laughing and speaking Spanish to the sushi maker. The waitress continued to go back and forth with the cook for some time till eventually she walked away. Fast forward, the salmon was brought out and tasted good and the check was brought out before asking if we wanted anything else. The waitress didn’t ask us if we wanted dessert so I asked for the menu myself and we got the donuts which were delicious. We continued to eat for a little and then asked for boxes but she was very occupied so I went and also asked the hostess for the boxes which she kindly brought out. After looking at the final check, we noticed that the restaurant does charge $1 for each extra sauce (which was not verbalized to us prior to ordering). I would recommend this place for a quick bite, or wanting sushi, a quick lunch, or something of the sort but there wasn’t really much else to experience here (In...
Read moreSuper trendy sushi spot, focused on providing an elevated but relaxed experience. As the name implies, they specialize in sushi and sake. There are many offerings of premium sake, expertly described to tailor to your preference on that particular day. We were pretty hungry, so we went over the moderately sized menu and chose our favorites. There is a Happy Hour, but we got there a little late for it, so we settled in to some Japanese beer and hot sake and put in our food order. There was also a large selection of wines available and on display in quite an elegant manner, but we kept it simple, festive, and coming all night long. Our server Betsi was super attentive and made sure we were well taken care of, even though it started to get a little crowded. I ordered the Dolphin Roll and the very interesting Calle Ocho Roll. My folks had the Caliente Roll, JB Roll and the Salmon Skin Hand Roll. Everything was outstanding!!! This was also some of the best wasabi I have had in a long time, strong but flavorful, bringing those good tears to your eyes. We were having such a good time, that we ordered a Vanessa Roll, while we finished our drinks. We had an incredible experience and are planning on returning soon. It's a toss up for me between the Vanessa Roll and the Dolphin, but there are so many other things to choose from... We'll see what happens. If you're looking for a nice date spot, or somewhere easy to chill with some family or friends, Sushi Sake has all the vibes. You won't be...
Read moreThe service And Food Here Was A Complete 10/10. My server Sandra Was Amazing and very accommodating🥰 I took my son here for a lunch date and was sorta indecisive on which kind of sushi to select from, But Sandra Was more then helpful, she explained to me what the different varieties of sushi Consisted and what would compliment my palette for the taste I was leaning more towards. I also had a sangria and she ensured that it was made to perfection. Once the entre had came it did not seem to fail expectations. Every was a 10/10. Being that this was my first time in this fine establishment I rate my overall experience 100/10. Everything exceeded expectations from the quality of the food to the amazing customer service.
