If you are looking for horrible customer service and horrible food, look no further! I've been here three times and every single time has been a let down. The first time I ordered a footlong hotdog meal with just ketchup and onions. My boyfriend ordered chicken tenders with tots. After waiting a solid 30 minutes, not during a rush mind you, we got our food. My hotdog was covered in old nacho cheese and chilli that smelt like it was dog food. So I kindly asked them to remake the hotdog with just ketchup and onions like I originally asked. Another twenty minutes later and I was given another funky chili cheese dog, only this time with ketchup and onions added. I went inside and asked for a refund and I was given attitude and told no because they remade it for me meaning a refund was not possible. To make matters worse, my boyfriend's chicken tenders barely had meat and was all hard batter.
I'm all for second chances so I returned a couple weeks later. I ordered a Sonic burger meal thinking that it would be pretty hard to mess up. I waited for almost an hour and a half for my food! When the employee finally arrived, my food was thrown at me and no apologies were given for the wait. The burger was dry and old. My tots were disgusting, mushy and greasy. Plus the grease was old. Disappointed again.
A couple weeks after that, my boyfriend and I ate dinner across the street from Sonic. After dinner my boyfriend wanted ice cream so he stopped at Sonic even though I had strong reservations. I ordered the bourbon brown sugar shake and he ordered a shake with peanut butter (can't remember which one). I was told they were out of the bourbon so I passed all together. My boyfriend gets his shake and off we go. During our car ride home he noticed he kept getting ice cream on his hand and that the cup was wet. We just figured that the lid wasn't on good and wiped off all the liquid. When we got home, he picked up his cup and noticed a sticker on it. As he touched the sticker it moved and behind it was a pretty significant crack! All the shake started to leak out of it and we had to quickly scramble to cover it before it got everywhere. These employees really couldn't take the time out to give us a new cup but instead tried to cover the crack up like we wouldn't notice.
I will never go to any sonic again. This location has truly ruined my experience which is unfortunate because it is the only one in the area. Medicore food, rude employees, and careless customer service is the theme of this location. Save your money and go...
Read moreI'm very impressed with the degree of proficiency in this business since it's only been open for a week. It's nice to have a Sonic with indoor and outdoor seating. The indoors can be opened up during the summer, which is even better. One glitch was the lack of menus, the only one was at the counter where you order. They later started handing them out to people coming in the door. Even with people having to stand at the counter and decide what they wanted, it moved really fast. The place was packed, inside and out, so we expected to be waiting for a while. I don't think it took more than 5 min. for our order to come skating out to our table. Then comes the accuracy test. All of the fast food outlets in our area perpetually fail this test. These people have it together. 8 items ordered, 8 of the correct items received in the proper state of either hot or cold. I decided to try something new - the Island Fire burger. It wasn't on the printed menu, we saw it on the website. When I asked, the said that they have all the items on the regular menu, plus wine and beer. The burger was good! Two beef patties, bacon, pepper jack cheese and BBQ sauce. The meat was hot and juicy. The cheese added just the right kick and the sauce gave a hint of sweetness. It all worked. The only food issue was that both order of tater tots were about half crumbled. They also offer beer and wine at this location, but you can only order them if you're eating indoors. I guess that way, you won't be driving off with an open container. A responsible decision on their part. They do need to correct the hours on their Yelp page. It says that they close at 5:00 and they're actually open til 10. Overall, it was a surprisingly good experience and we'll definitely be going back.

Read moreOn November 22nd of 2019, at about 9:57 pm I pulled into a drive in kiosk. It took me a few minutes to think about what I wanted and when I decided I hit the red button. Looked at my phone it said 10:02 pm. A young lady, who did not state her name, answered and told me to hold on a minute. It was said politely but I did not wait a minute. In fact I waited 2 full minutes; it is now 10:04 and the young lady comes back to take my order. Seems that she was having a conversation with someone else and asks for my stall number. I wasn’t looking so it took me a second to find it, I said number 5 and with annoyance in her voice she says “go ahead with ur order”. I told her my order, at the end of it I said “and some honey mustard please”. Now clearly irritated she says “okay sir.” Didn’t want that to ruin my evening so I let it go, however the screen for me to pay never showed up. I sat there for another 10 minutes. No one came. I hit the button again. A different girl answers still not stating her name and asks if she can help me. I said “I’ve placed my order already just wondering what’s going on so I can pay”. She then asks what my order was, which infuriated me to no end. I said forget it, drove off hungry and angry. My order should have been placed with the stall number which is why I was asked that in the first place. This is not the first time this happened to me at this location and I’m done.
