I went to a different shop tonight to get a latte to take with me to a meeting. It was a grab and go scenario. I ordered ahead on the app. But when I walked into the store, there was no one behind the counter. The doorbell rang when I opened the door so I expected someone to come from the back but no one did. Then I looked at the printer to see if my receipt was there and it wasn't - out of paper? - so no ding from the printer. After several minutes, I finally called out to see if anyone was there and a young woman came out, smiled at me, and made my drink. She said they were out of my sweetener but I had my own so I opened the lid to pour the sweetener in and stir. My medium cup was only two-thirds full, more the size of a small. I thought about complaining but, at that point, I really needed to get to my meeting. As I drove down the road, I took a sip. The drink was AWFUL! Now I get DD lattes at least every other day so I know what they should taste like - creamy and sweet with a nice rich coffee flavor. This drink was bitter with a very harsh coffee flavor, like there was way too much coffee for the amount of water in the mix, and perhaps like the coffee was burned. It was sweet because I added my sweetener, but not creamy at all. The full cup of coffee is still sitting in my car. I didn't drink any of it after that first taste. Either this young woman truly doesn't care about her job, or this is another example of woefully inadequate training at this shop. Sadly, I will go back to avoiding this shop because the quality is too hit-or-miss for the expense of a DD latte. Too bad. It used to be my...
Read moreToday I went to this Dunkin' place since it is very close to my house. I had the worst experience of my life in this place since I ordered an ice cream and there was little cone left, they didn't give me the right amount, perfect, no problems, but it turns out that one of the cashiers with her blonde wig left a hair of her in my ice cream. I went and came back to tell him that I didn't want that ice cream and that he should give me my money back. which she had to call his manager to help her. That person has very bad customer service and throws things away. She goes to the back angry to talk and not only that, it is assumed that in any food place, as well as in restaurants, all the staff are mandatory wearing hair nets for the same reason so that their hair does not fall into the food that they eat. It is something very unpleasant. and finally I'm talking to my girlfriend in another language which she doesn't even understand what we're saying and she starts insulting me. If the manager was a person of character and a fair person and a person who cared about the business, this person would fire her immediately because he was right on the line on the phone when he heard everything she told me, she is a person who has no control. Last time I go to that place. I hope you take this message very serious because just as it happened to me, I imagine it will also happen to other people and you have to look after your interests and take care of your business and employee assets, so...
Read moreFirst time at this location & I donât think Iâll be returning. First off the staff seems nice but this review is based off sense of awareness. Young lady at the register had gloves on while taking transactions but was going to get my donuts with those same gloves she was touching money with. I asked can she change them before doing so she apologized and changed them for me. I immediately thought how many other customers has she done this with which was alarming to me. Next I had also ordered hash browns I didnât check my bag before I left but when I got back to my job it was bagel bites instead. Drove back and the guy apologized and said he tried to get before I left. I let him know it was okay but I gave him back the bagel bites and told him to trash them but he proceeded to put a sticker on the bag to keep it sealed to give to the next customer. Again thatâs very alarming especially during this time with COVID. I feel like the team needs better training on the right precautions to ensure safety to...
