Pollo Campero — Restaurant in Laurel

I've been going here for a long time but visited a few weeks ago and I've seen the way the staff operates. The staff needs to be fired they think they practically run and owns the place . They don't even understand English and are very nasty . First of all they put aside some huge pieces of chicken for their Latino friends and tell you the chicken is sold out . Even though I was 2nd in line out of 5 people they had a stack of chicken put aside when their Latino counterparts in line ordered. They told me they were sold out and that's all was left was dried out chicken under the warmer . They give customers they don't like small dried out chicken especially if they don't speak Spanish . The other Latinos behind me payed and was seated and their plate of huge chicken was taken to them . The little ones in the try under the warmer was for others . The ones I was given were dried out and very small. I've spent over 19 bucks in chicken for my mother. I only bought it because that's what my mother wanted. Me ,I took myself to Popeyes right across the street to get myself some real chicken. Not me again. I'll never go back to this place. They're very prejudice. Yes and I'm black . I placed my order , I was told they don’t have any dinner rolls, ( that is not the first time also),I told the cashier could I get a small soda and he said NO, I told him that is a bad answer for customers service for the inconvenience more when I’m a regular customer, after I received my order I was told they don’t have a BREAST, they brought me a thigh instead and small legs , nothing never order. I don’t Happy with my order and ruined my dinner time David ( name of the cashier was very rude ) they know the issues but even the girl ( MOD ), look like manager on duty when in the back area and never came to apologize . Cleaning person around swipe in front of customers, tables dirty, look like the rushing for close the store but is unacceptable, you can check cameras, love love your food but today was a really really bad day experience, hope you can talk to your employees and management about Customer Service, thank you and waiting for...

It was ok. I had the tender meal, it wasn't anything special. Stopped in to get a quick bite. Chicken wasn't very flavorful, actually seemed as if it was old. I ordered plantains as a side. The plantains were good, but they need crema for those. The service was ok, they weren't rude, they just looked busy. Now back to the food. It's not worth what it costs you. I believe I got sick after eating here. I can tolerate fast food, however about an hour ½ after I got home that's when the issues started. My stomach started hurting and even into the next morning I was still dealing with gastrointestinal issues. My friend who went with me also experienced the same problems as me, and even though she got a regular chicken meal, she stated that they gave her old chicken instead of fresh. Go to popeyes right across the street. I understand they cater to the Latin community, but popeyes has better chicken...this...
