Centennial Park - East Side — Attraction in Lawrence

As of 9/24/25 Counted 4 homeless persons, 1 sleeping under the gazebo, which smells of urine. They found access to the water faucet/ spigot that doesn't have a lock on it. Other than that, the disk golf course and walking path is nice and spacious. 🤷‍♂️ Due to the secluded nature and current state of the playground area, in a state of disarray, doesn't make it look appealing. Hopefully the city can come out and get...

I had an hour before I could check into the hotel I was staying at across the street so I decided to wait at this park. It seemed like a nice, family friendly park so I was appalled by what I witnessed in the restroom.. I walked in and there were some very X-rated sounds coming from one of the stalls. I figured it was probably some teenagers but ended up seeing one very tweaked out homeless woman...

My son's favorite park when were still in Lawrence. He loved both sides of the park, but the east side is much bigger. We used to go here to watch people...
