Wendy's — Restaurant in Lawrence

Today about 2:15 I arrived at Wendy's this location, as I put in my order, the person taking my order cut me off as if I was finished. I didn't here her repeat what I said,so I ask, she abrupt said I heard you. I think pulled around to the window to pay. the person at the window didn't greet me at all she just said my total. I gave her my credit card, she returned it. A few minutes later she handed me my frosty ordered, then my food. I new for the amount of items they wouldn't fit in one bag. So I look through it to make sure before I pulled off. she came back to the window and said do you need something. I politely said yes, im missing my large chili, I had 4 4 for 4 meals, I only had 3, and on top of that I ask for chicken sandwiches and was given hamburgers. Another person came to the window with my missing items, I ask what is in there, she never acknowledged just shook her head. I guess she doesn't speak. There were no sauce s in the bag or straws for the drinks. I wanted to let who ever manages or owns that location, you are losing business, im sure im not the first person to complain about the horrible service. If a person chooses to work somewhere, it was just that. So don't treat the people making it possible for you to get a check.

Why is this location still open??! We decided to visit on 4/26/22 @ 7:40pm. Why? Because for once, there wasn't a line wrapped around the building. Ordered 2 10pc chicken nugget meals. Total was $13.93. The hubby had a $20 and 3 ones. What did he do? Gave the girl $23.93 so he could receive $10 in change. All hell broke loose!! Aside from the simple math, you'd think the register would do the math. Uh-uh..She came back and tried to MAKE my hubby take the 3 ones back. He explained he wanted $10 back. She closed the window, stayed gone for a few moments, and came back with the incorrect amount!! When he AGAIN tried to explain, she accused him of not giving her $23.93! Are you kidding me?! So, after consulting with a "manager", she opens the window, hands my hubby $10 and slams the window like the hubby was wrong or offended HER! I understand employees are over-worked, under-paid, not appreciated. However, this does not excuse the lack of common sense, common courtesy, or just good ole fashioned politeness! 10:10pm i go here to get hot fresh food but instead i got old food i asked for freshly cooked no mayo got old food and mayo anyway and then had to wait at the drive thur window another 5 min just to get ketchup so i thought that was it i had to take the food back after i got home when i returned i told the young lady my order was old food and i asked for no mayo and freshly cooked food she said ok and asked me to pull forward so i did i guess the manager brought my food to my car he didn't say sorry for your inconvenience are anything just basically handed me my food and walked away i checked my food this time and guess what mayo agin and the fries where still cold i just worked a 12hr shift and decided to stop and get food who knew it would cost me 11.10 for a 2.89 cup of chill because thats the only thing i got to eat out of my whole order a #4 no mayo freshly cooked a cup of chill how hard is that all i can say is i won't be returning and good luck to anyone who visiting this place.
