RUDE employees! We love Bruster's - in fact our oldest daughter worked at the Snellville location when she was in high school. Have visited this Sugarloaf store more times than I can count. Last Saturday night my husband, youngest daughter and I decided to stop for ice cream after having dinner out. The wait was not bad even though the line was long. Only positive of our visit. When it was our turn to order, a young man with shoulder length braids literally looked at us and slammed the window shut and walked away. Ok?? He disappeared into the back while all of the other employees were working on orders. After about 2 minutes he returned, opened the window and stared at us. No hello - how can I help you - anything. My daughter and I each ordered two different flavor scoops in a cup. He had MAJOR attitude the entire time we were ordering. He was sighing and we seemed to be inconveniencing him. Paid and waited for our order. He finally came back to the window and YELLED at me "What did you order?" So I repeated both of our orders. When he came back with my daughters order he handed it to her and I noticed it was only for one flavor. I went to the window to tell him what she had actually ordered and he said "fine - I'll remake it." He then yelled at us to "she needs to give me back that cup!" So she handed it back but I cannot understand the attitude. Then she and I are both given teeny, teeny, tiny scoops of each flavor while everyone else's were the normal size. This is our last visit. I will never give money to them after being treated so horribly for absolutely NO REASON. This will also include any school fundraisers we have done with them in the past and coupon books. Hire better people and train them how to be decent human beings....

Ice Cream Pie order purposely made incorrectly by staff due to the ordered flavor being out. They will cheat your cake/pie to "get it done" and then lie about it.
I ordered a cotton candy flavor ice cream pie 10/1. They ran out of cotton candy ice cream and shoved a bunch of vanilla ice cream into the cake to finish it, not kidding.
To clarify, Ive ordered this cake type before, so I know what it looks like.
When I cut cake open this mostly vanilla pie was noticed. It gets better, or way worse, depending on how you look at it.
I call in to request the manager today. Someone answered using voiceover system to sound different, and said the manager is not on site. I asked who I was speaking to and they would not give their name. I asked who the manager was and they also refused to provide this information.
Then a "Grayson" grabbed the phone and defended the cakes result stating he saw them put the cotton candy in the cake. Well yes it was like 10 percent cotton candy, but Another lie. I advised I wanted a refund and they finally said ok after some push back.
I returned to the store and they admitted to running out of cotton candy flavor and shoved a bunch of vanilla into the cake. I didnt even ask what happened, but the person giving me the refund said that.
They said "they should have called me", when they essentially knew there wasnt enough of the flavor to make the pie.
Everyone working 10/2 really blew it. This place needs an internal meeting asap if Brusters actually cares. A staff audit needs to be...
Read moreI just got home from Brusters, and my experience was disappointing. Upon pulling up to the drive-through, I couldn't hear the lady and I think she couldn't hear me either. As I explained to her that I would like a toddler cone with vanilla and sprinkles, she continued asking me what cone size I wanted. I kept saying toddler cone. She kept asking what cone you needed. My response was cake cone. The woman did not respond when I explained that I wanted a cake cone and a scoop of cookie dough. As I pulled up to the window, she said I hadn't told you to pull up to the window yet. She walked away as I apologized because I couldn't hear her and my son's had the phone way too loud. She didn't care what I had to say as she walked away. There was so much music playing in the background that I assumed she had other workers with her, but she was by herself. She was listening to music and singing loudly. Despite paying $10 for ice cream, she didn't even give me or my son what we wanted. A spoon and cup were given to us with our ice cream. It was hard for me to say anything because she didn't seem to care about my feelings at all. There was something nasty about her demeanor. Companies who hire disrespectful employees to represent their business will never make sense to me. My preference is to overwork myself than to have people like her put a bad light on Brusters. In terms of hiring processes, you...
