PITA Mediterranean Street Food - Dacula — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

This was the first time I’ve been to this location I usually go to the other location I just assumed they would be the same but I was wrong. There was no one in the restaurant except for one lady black hair kind of short heavy set. she didn’t look too thrilled when we walked in I stood at the counter for a few minutes while she just working on her food and then finally she asked if I was going to be paying cash or card I told her I was going to use points she kept doing her own thing and then finally came to the register to take my order. I’m just getting a bowl and some fries she said we were completely out of fries which was weird but OK that’s fine she told me to my total and I told her I was using my points once I got the food I figured OK cool the service is bad as long as the food taste the same it’ll be fine. forget tasting the same I barely got any food the other location fills it up to where I have a hard time keeping everything in the bowl when I mix everything together this lady put barely any rice I don’t know how the other location does it but they actually make it look good. sometimes I go to places and the food is not that great but the customer service is amazing so I just forget about it, but when the food is barely there and the service was even worse than I go ahead and say what I need to say. I really hope the owner sees this. It’s no wonder this...

I would love to be able to give a 5 star rating but….The 1st few times we went the food was good and so was the customer service, the only issue was the portions. The last couple of times we went there was a different employee, I don’t know if she is new or just new to us but her attitude is terrible. I was ordering for my husband and requested extra meat and she insisted on telling me the meal already came with double portions of meat. I informed her that he still wanted extra and she still insisted on telling me that it was already a double portion; she basically refused to ring up the order as requested. We understood there would be an up charge, and were willing to pay it. I was so irritated that I didn’t even order for myself. It’s not good business to not honor a customer request if it’s not an unreasonable request. We had been there previously and been able to get a double portion without issue. I don’t know if they’ll be getting any business...

When I came into the store I saw what looked like beer bottles opened and only employees were in the store. I just ignored this and I ordered 4 chicken gyros. The order was rung in correctly and after receiving the food I went home(I live about 30 mins away). When I opened the boxes I saw that they had given me lamb! I called the store and they put the employee on the line basically told me they wouldn’t do anything about it unless I drove the 30 mins back to the store to return the food! Well this is definitely no Chick-fil-A! I told them I would take it up with corporate and she said ok and hung up the phone. I cannot support a store with this level of customer service. Maybe if they were not drinking they could have gotten the order correct. There is an awesome pita place next to sonic in dacula, support the local business and good customer...
