Speedy Burrito Dacula — Restaurant in Georgia

I really wanted to like this place but I do not. The burritos cost $9 and don't come with cheese so you have to add it which is an extra cost and it's $1.50 to add cheese. That's not so terrible if it was actually a good amount of cheese. Yesterday was the second time we've ordered burritos and had to add cheese and lettuce which comes up to an additional $3 for an already $9 burrito and then the burrito comes with a sprinkle of cheese and a fluffing of lettuce. Unacceptable to charge extra and then not even add that to the burrito. I thought it was maybe a fluke the first time but it is not. And on top of that, beware if you make an order online because they charge you a dollar just for making an online order and then charge you an additional dollar for picking it up. I'm not sure how else you would get your order unless you picked it up. Seems kind of ridiculous to me and then it auto adds a 20% tip and you have to edit it out. So not only do you want me to tip you for my poorly made burrito, you're going to charge me extra just for placing an order online. I don't think so. I will never come here again.

UPDATE: Bumped from a 2 star to a 1 star. Thought I'd try one more time and I'm now 100% never coming here again. Ordered Nachos and added lettuce, not only did they charge me 1.50 to add lettuce, they then added an additional $2 for a custom order, that's $3.50 extra for a sprinkle of lettuce on some nachos. Also ordered a diet coke, and she didn't hand it to me in the drive thru when she handed me the food, she closed the window, I had to sit and wait for her to come back, and she just said "Do you need something else", and I said yeah, my drink, and then she literally disappeared for almost 4 minutes and then came back and handed me a fountain drink that was filled to the rim with ice. The customer service and up charging here is ridiculous....

Every time I go to Speedy B the staff is very helpful. The restaurant is always clean and the tables and floors are no exception. In most fast food restaurants you will almost never be helped after your food is delivered. That is what separates Speedy B for the normal. I am always surprised and frankly humbled when someone takes my trash and tray after I'm done. The manager on duty is also extremely attentive and stopped by the table to make sure we had everything and were pleased with our food. Next level! Now I get to brag on the food! This place is consistent and super good at making what I would consider authentic Mexican street food. I don't mean that as an insult. I mean it's the kind of food that you order more than you really thought but are surprised and sad when it runs out. All of their tacos are fantastic. The burritos are incredible as well. The soups are souper authentic and tasty. The prices are very reasonable and easy to understand when you compare the quality and selection. I have been there over a dozen times before writing this review and I can say without a doubt that it's good every time! I loved this place and usually love the food but I wish with all my heart that they didn’t clean with Fabuloso! The smell is so strong and it’s all I taste while I eat when I dine in! Gross! I wish all restaurants quit using this detergent!

Additionally, I came in and ordered the nachos on a bed of lettuce instead of chips because I’m eating low carb but love their cheese dip. They acted like I was asking for the moon on a silver platter. They looked so confused and had to ask about 3 people if it was possible. Then they asked the rude manager who for some reason thinks she’s running some kind of 5 star restaurant and people are out to rip her off. She acted suspicious of my simple request and said it was possible but that I needed to pay an extra dollar for the lettuce. Mind you, I was literally getting rid of the chips and having lettuce instead. Ok, a dollar is worth it to me to stay on my low carb diet so I agree. We paid extra for the lettuce and when I opened my container, they didn’t even put lettuce in. So I paid extra for less food because no chips and no lettuce.
