We stood for an hour, watching the dining room empty while the waiting room filled up. The hostess said that it would be “thirty minutes or more” to us… and everyone who came in after us for an hour while we stood. When someone in the waiting area asked what was going on, they got hotly defensive. Backdropped by a now nearly-empty dining room and an overflowing waiting area, they said things like, “Well you can sit if you want, but it’ll be an hour and a half before you get your food.” This, to people who were told “maybe a little over 30 minutes” an hour ago. When asked why they were prioritizing DoorDash and drive through while they had a bunch of people waiting, they flat-out said, “We’re not prioritizing anything.” The people in the waiting area all looked around at each other, knowing full well that we’ve been watching the drive-through get pushed through and a steady stream of DoorDashers picking up food. This is why we left - not the trash at the hostess stand, not the server who took a smoke break and then came back inside and served food without washing her hands, not even the overworked kitchen (we know busy days take time!) - but because of the lack of communication, the horribly hostile and condescending attitude of management, and the flagrant disregard for the customers who were there in person in favor of the fast food line and carry-out (and then the blatant denial when held...
Read moreEditing my review because I gave it another shot and it's just gotten worse. Learned my lesson. Thx 👎
Tl;dr went through the drive thru and they messed up half my order. Manager (Chris) apparently couldn't tear himself away from his chicken long enough to talk to me.
Stopped by today through the drive thru and while the person at the window was sweet, they forgot half of my order. I paid extra for a side item and that was forgotten as well as another side for my dinner. After coming back, after getting all the way home might I add, I calmly told the hostess that I was missing the items and could I get them. She called for a manager and a woman appeared in the bar area who I thought might have been the manager but she didn't approach me so I continued to wait while I heard multiple people tell manager "Chris" that the lady at the bar needed to talk to him and I was probably told 3 times that he would be right with me. The only man I saw in the BOH was someone tearing into some chicken which is what I wanted to be doing but no, I was there, waiting on okra and potato salad. Eventually Amanda was able to scrounge me up some potato salad and then finally the okra made an appearance. I was probably in the store to rectify this mistake for over ten minutes and during that time I still never had any sort of management...
Read moreWe have always gone to this location as we live about 5 min. away. Always great! Until yesterday when we went for our anniversary dinner. Our waitress was an elderly lady, and I am sure is unhappy about having to work at her age and I sympathize with her. But, she was really dismissive and kinda nasty. She gave us 2 Sided menus. I asked her for the other menu, the one that folds over and has the dinners on it. She said that was the only menu they had, that they never had a different one and no menu ever listed "all you can eat" which my husband was inquiring. But it was an off menu item. I asked her if there was like a 3-4 rib dinner that I could get French fries and corn on the cob. She said yes. She brought our food. I got a bowl of corn, 4 ribs and fries with garlic bread. The ribs were inedible. Mostly gristle and fat and I had to spit bites into my napkin. The fries were not golden or done and were mostly hard almost like a raw potato. The garlic bread was not grilled on each side and was limp and wet with the butter. My husband's ribs were the same as mine and his broccoli was hard! Really disappointed because we have always celebrated different occasions here and came often. It was hard to get her attention and she never asked if...
