American Deli — Restaurant in Lawrenceville

I waited twenty minutes only to find out my food had been ready this whole time and that the cashier didn’t tell the cook I had shown up until I said I had been waiting forever. Then, cashier messed up my phone call order so when I politely asked the cook to put on “white cheese” on top of my philly the cook had a mental break down about it saying I told the cashier, “light cheese” when I didn’t (she wouldn’t have known anyway, it was a phone call order). The cook had started complaining in Spanish for whatever reason because I asked her to please put a slice of cheese on my philly. The cook refused to put a slice of cheese on my Philly CHEESE steak sandwich so she told the other cook to do it while still complaining. Even though her cashier messed up, and I never asked the cook to remake my sandwich, and the cook was being very disrespectful. I will never visit this location ever again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY CHEAP AND PETTY. THE OWNER DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH & SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT HOW HER EMPLOYEES TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS. NELSON IS A HORRIBLE WORKER. HE HAS A SMART & SARCASTIC MOUTH AND THINKS IT’S APPROPRIATE TO GO BACK & FORTH WITH CUSTOMERS REGARDING ISSUES WITH THEIR ORDER INSTEAD OF FIXING THE PROBLEM. This might be the best American deli food I ever had. The wings and fries were so tasty and crispy at this location! I don’t know if it’s their oil or the slight batter they toss the wings in but it was cooked perfectly! Props the cooks in the back! The wings were a nice size! Not too small and not too big! Price and quality is great! I ordered online and when I got there I believe the owner helped me at the counter, she was nice and happy to serve me which was pleasant! She wanted to clarify on my online order to make sure my special request was done right and had my order out in less than 5 mins. They opened the box to let me see my order to confirm everything was right and to add any extra seasonings if wanted. The service was great during dinner rush and the food was fantastic!
