The only reason this review isn’t 1 star is because the food was decent. However the experience was not. We went through the drive thru and the person taking our order seemed annoyed at us? At checkout we about choked at the total. When I questioned it a little bit in amazement, the person at the register got really defensive with “well y’all ordered a lot of food” with an attitude.. we got meals for two adults, a child, and an order of cheese curds?
The cost is astronomical. 2 burger meals, a kids meal, cheese curds, 2 regular ice creams and a small ice cream.. $50?? I mean, my bad for not paying more attention but holy cannoli. And then my husbands burger was wrong so he had to go back. He asked for no onions add bacon, his burger was loaded with onions and didn’t have bacon. Goes back, gets it without onions yay, except now it’s a double melt with one patty and two little scraps thrown on top that don’t even make a full second patty. The fact that it’s $8 for a large cheese curd which literally is the size of a small fry at most places is mind boggling to me.
Work on your customer service skills. Maybe consider whether or not your pricing is reasonable especially considering those customer service skills. I’d been wanting to try Freddy’s for a while, to say this was a let down would be an understatement. The food was decent, but I won’t be back until I make a small fortune and am assured that customer service is better. I get it when people are human, but I’ve never been snapped at like that when I questioned a total. There are many places out there that offer a similar style of dining for a much more reasonable price.
Also, if you want to charge $0.80 for a side cup of cheese, at least make it something decent and not the stuff bought in mass quantities from Sam’s club.
Freddy’s, what once held great promise in my mind now holds great disappointment.
Edit: I was contacted and offered coupons for this situation. After receiving the coupons (4 meals and 4 treats) I went back and I have to say, it was a much better experience. I won’t bump up to five stars simply because.. it’s Lawton, not many here can truly afford that price for this food. Will I be back? Probably. More than once a year? In my...
Read moreWe go to Freddie’s once a week or every other week for burgers and fries. Always loved it until the last few months. Service kept getting worse and worse. Our orders were not accurate, rude service, but the worst day was Monday Dec 12. I greeted the girl behind the register when we walked up with hello, how are you, she made eye contact with me, but never said hello. She finally ambled over to take our order, uninterested and really didn’t want to be there. We find a clean table, go for napkins and ketchup, no napkins in four holders, no ketchup in the pump container. My husband goes up to the pick up area, but no one looked his way, he then went to the register area, no one there so he steps into the kitchen area, finally, someone comes out and he asks for napkins and ketchup. They said for him to get it out of the pump, of course he told them it was empty and he asks for ketchup packets. They said we’re out of the ketchup packets. He came back to our table with napkins but no ketchup, so we watched as one employee finally came out to pick up the pump ketchup container, we received our food, meat tasted odd like t might have been fried in old grease, French fries were cold, still no ketchup pump replaced. I went up to the food counter and saw the guy who picked up the pump and ask if he was going to refill it. He said “oh”. I then ask another guy if there was fry sauce and said no, we’re out, I then said, “what’s happening here, no ketchup, no fry sauce, no napkins in the holders, terrible service, do you have a manger?” He directed me over to the rude girl that took our order. I said, your the manager? Then asked the same thing I asked the other guy, she had no explanation, then I said is their a main manager? Is he here? Please send him over to our table. Tyler come over and we told him everything we had experienced and that we would never be back. He tried to explain his difficulty find good help, etc., but something is seriously wrong with management and if this continues it will not survive. Good...
Read moreAs soon as we walked in, it was quite frosty in the place so we decided to eat outside. We made a pit stop to the bathroom first. I couldn't get out of there fast enough because the music was so ungodly loud that if someone were dropping bombs over Baghdad next to you, you'd have no idea. When ordering the food, I was asked if I wanted to make my chicken tenders a meal. Sure. Let's do that. Turns out it either really only comes with fries and no drink and is more expensive than just adding fries on (which I realized later), or approximately one minute after asking the question, the person forgot I had ordered a meal and it actually was supposed to come with a drink. I go to sit outside and thaw out while my husband is waiting on the food only to be greeted by more blaring music. Seriously, I don't even listen to it this loud when I'm jamming out to music in my car. I go back in and tell my husband to get it to go because of the music. He does that but also asks to have it turned down. The manager was on the grill and it was going to take quite a bit of time, so instead of being able to eat inside or outside, we sat in our car. The food is good, but so is food at a plethora of other places in town, so I can't say we'll be going back again. If we do, it'll definitely be...
