I will say I love their food. My most favorite is their Southwest chicken avocado salad. They have the most amazing avocado. However, one time, I did get some hard as a rock.. I could look past this... But every time I go I always order extra avocado. I mostly order take out because it's so busy. 9/10 times I have had no avocado on my salad what so ever. I even tried to give the benefit of the doubt, working in service, that maybe the ticket doesn't read clearly and have ordered the salad just as it comes.. still no avocado..which is the main point of this salad. I've had no cheese, wrong dressing, etc .. Five times in a row this has happened. Unfortunately, you would think before I wasted my gas and time I had just learned to look at my food before leaving considering it's an extra 4$ as well for this avocado, but it's always something.. a rush, the bag was taped completely up and I'd have to rip it open, I sent someone else for me... And if I'm honest, a mere thought of, "no, surely they'd get it right this time, since the last 3x were all back to back within the last two weeks",..but no! The last time I went in I did check it... (Thought at least I didn't waste my money, time, and gas)..just to find out I got no avocado because they had none! But I was charged for it! I will admit, only after speaking with a manager and expressing how upset I was over multiple incidents, did they offer a free meal for my next visit, but we just ran into the same issue. No exaggeration here.. I feel this is either deliberate or I can't be the only one. If this happens to others, I don't know how they stay in business. Maybe it's different dining in. At least there is the option of getting your food fixed. Though last time I was waiting to speak with the manager I watched a customer dining in stand at the front forever before being addressed... A few of the employees are super sweet and it's definitely not their fault. But management is lacking.. there is so much turnover. Bringing in my coupons the others on duty didn't even think it was legitimate though it was signed! These pictures are when I finally got avocado I went back for and it was too hard to do anything with. I'm probably more forgiving than others since I have worked in this kind of service.    Read moreGenerally one of my favorite places to eat, but today was horrible. My son and i ordered soup and sandwiches, iced tea and coffee. When they finally came with our order, our soup was ice cold, literally. They took it back which took 10 minutes to bring back to us, however, they forgot to bring back my plate which had my bread and spoon on it, so they took my soup back again to go find the rest of my meal. Really? While all this was going on im still waiting on the coffee i ordered, that i never received. Id allready asked once and the girl said they just started it cause when they started it the first time, it wasnt plugged in. So i have to wait again. Well we finished our long awaited meal finally and still no coffee. By this time my lunch is over and i have to leave, so i ask for the third time if i can have the coffee i ordered, im back at the counter this time. The manager brings it to me and i remove the lid to put cream in it and it looks like a very weak cup of tea. So i told them to forget it and i have to leave, without the coffee i ordered and paid for. Ubelievable! First, if you are a cook nothing should leave your kitchen cold, unless its supposed to be. Secondly, your customers are your bread and butter so they should be well taken care of. Your managers should know every bit of whats going on at all times. In review. I was served cold and late food, and did not receive everything i paid for. Really bad...
   Read moreI've been to a really good McAllister's before, and this isn't it. Save yourself the trouble, and go somewhere else in Lawton. Every time I've ordered here, doesn't matter if it's pickup or curbside, things are wrong with my order. I've paid for things I didn't recieve, received poorly cooked food, and this time waited in the car for 15 minutes for a curbside order only to go inside to wait another 10. It seems to be because they're short staffed, but a 25 minute wait is still not ok, and while I waited. I watched two other people come back to have their orders fixed, and someone dining in brought their plate back up. Each time the food has been just good enough that I could say "Hey, at least they didn't put anything I'm allergic to in it," but I deserve better than "at least it isn't literal poison to me." I think if anyone would have said anything nice, or interacted with me about these wrong orders at all, I wouldn't have felt the need to write this review, but really, if you're ordering to-go, you...
