Crumbl — Restaurant in Layton

My mom has orders catering 3 times from this store. All three times something has been messed up. The most recent was today. She ordered 60 chocolate chip mini cookies. She ordered them from the app, the earliest time that it would let her select was 10 am so she selected that. She is a school teacher and so I was in charge of picking up the cookies since she was at work. When I got there the staff was already not pleasant. I told them I was there to pick up an order. The girl I talked to went back to look, she came back and said that order isn’t until 1. I said she told me to pick them up at 10. There is no point in picking them at 1, the event will be over by then. She said she could start them and it would take her about an hour. I asked her to hold on while I called my mom to see if that would be too late. When I got off the phone I went back up to the counter to finish talking about the order and ask what time I should come back. There were 4 employees in the store and not a single one of them came to talk to me, or would even make eye contact with me. They blatantly ignored me. Finally after at least 5 minutes of waiting and being ignored, a different employee came mover to talk with me. I asked what time I should come back. She had to go ask the other girl. But the first girl who helped me still just kept ignoring me. It was bizarre. When I came back to pick up the order she was rude. I waited in line to get the order when I got to the front she in a rude tone said “you’re order is over there” and pointed to a box. It was a really frustrating experience. EDIT 3 years later! Well… my last few experiences have been very poor! Most recently I ordered online and waited for curbside delivery. I arrived at about 7:50 and waited. I could see it was busy, so I was prepared to wait for a minute. 30 minutes later I decided I would just walk inside and pick up my order to save the staff some stress and time. After a 15 minute wait in line I was told they were working on my order. So I stepped aside and waited in the store as about 20 orders were filled for walk in customers. I decided it may be best to wait in the car again to avoid confusion. 20 minutes later I’m still sitting out here. So that’s well over an hour I’m waiting for cookies. While I’ve been in the car about 5 more orders have been walked out for curbside delivery. I guess I’ll go wait in the line again? It’s literally been an hour and 15 minutes and we have no progress on getting my order done. I did ask the employee at the front a second time and she informed me it was her first day. I do sympathize with her because it was busy and stressful, but she could have used some help from her fellow co-workers on the situation. Truly horrible service and a waste of an evening. I have been disappointed with this location. I’ve only been here three times and all three times they have messed up my order. The first time they forgot to put the frosting and toppings on my cookies. I didn’t realize it until I had gotten home. The second time I went inside the store and they said the flavor I wanted wouldn’t be ready for another 30 minutes. So I purchased the cookies and told them I’d come back. when I came back they said they were all out even though I had already put my order in for it earlier. Very frustrated. I ended up picking out other cookies. This time I made sure to open the box and check the cookies before walking out- sure enough they forgot to put frosting on two of the four cookies. Third time’s a charm, right? this time I bought 24 cookies using the app/curbside delivery. I was in a hurry and didn’t open the box before I drove off. But when I did, i was couldn’t believe it. A THIRD TIME! Now, I have to say, at least they all had frosting on them. But They didn’t put the Oreo cookie on top of my Golden Oreo cookies. Know, I know that doesn’t seem like that big of a deal but to a kid who loves golden Oreos and was really looking forward To him, it was a big deal. AND am spending that much money on a cookie I should get all that it entails. Super...
