5-Star Review of Fuji Ramen in League City, TX

I’ve eaten my fair share of ramen across the U.S., and nothing comes close to the experience at Fuji Ramen. Right off I-45 South, just a few miles from Houston, Fuji Ramen has plenty of parking, a cozy vibe, and friendly service—a hidden gem you don’t want to miss.

I started with the Rocky Shrimp and the Chashu Sando; both appetizers were phenomenal. The shrimp was perfectly cooked—creamy, crunchy, and slightly vinegary all at once—while the Chashu Sando stole my heart. Each bite was a perfect harmony of textures and flavors: soft, salty pork against crisp cucumbers and lettuce, with a creamy sauce that tied everything together. It was unlike any sandwich I’ve had before.

I opted for the Black Garlic Tonkotsu for the main course with extra Chashu. The broth was super garlicky, smooth, and served at the perfect temperature. The noodles had that ideal chewy bite, and although the egg was just a tad overcooked, the garlic chips more than made up for it by adding a crunch and extra burst of flavor. The real star was the Chashu—unbelievably tender and buttery, with a perfectly balanced fat-to-meat ratio that left me speechless.

My wife had the Karaage Chicken Ramen, which came with three large, crispy pieces of fried chicken that were juicy on the inside and perfectly seasoned on the outside. My mother-in-law went for the Spicy Miso Tonkotsu, and she loved it—bold, flavorful, and wonderfully balanced.

Between the fantastic ramen, the top-notch appetizers, and the warm and attentive service, Fuji Ramen delivered one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Whether you’re craving an authentic bowl of ramen or just looking for a new place to try near Houston, Fuji Ramen is an absolute must. I can’t recommend it...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Fuji Ramen and trying their Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen, and I must say it was an absolute delight. From the moment the bowl was placed in front of me, I knew I was in for a treat.

The broth was rich and flavorful, with a perfect balance of pork essence and the unique tang of black garlic. Every spoonful was a delight to savor, with the depth of flavors unfolding beautifully. The noodles were cooked to perfection, with a satisfying chewiness that complemented the broth excellently.

What truly elevated this dish were the carefully selected ingredients. The tender pork chashu added a melt-in-your-mouth sensation, while the woodear mushrooms provided a delightful earthy note. The marinated soft egg was a true highlight, perfectly cooked with a luscious, custard-like yolk. The garnishes of green onion, garlic chips, charred garlic oil, and fried onion added layers of texture and additional bursts of flavor.

The attention to detail and the harmony of flavors in this bowl of ramen were truly exceptional. The ambiance of Fuji Ramen was cozy and inviting, and the service was friendly and attentive.

I highly recommend Fuji Ramen to all ramen enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Their Black Garlic Tonkotsu ramen is an absolute must-try for its outstanding taste and quality. Prepare to embark on a flavor journey that will leave you...

Excellent! My family and I ate here and loved it all. We shared some appetizers - spicy chicken wings, crab puffs, and spring rolls. All were hot, fresh, crispy and flavorful. The chicken wings were not spicy at all, but they still tasted great. Next, we had a few different Ramens. I had the Black Garlic, my husband had the Spicy Classic, and my daughters each had the clear chicken broth Ramen. We tried each others and all were delicious. My youngest had some modifications to hers, and they got it just right. Service was also fast, friendly, and efficient. We ordered our appetizers and Ramen at the same time, but they staggered each of the appetizers. The crab puffs came out first and as soon as we were done with those, the chicken wings were on the table. Then, as soon as we finished the chicken wings, the spring rolls were out. Just a few minutes after finishing the last spring roll, the Ramen arrived. We were very impressed. Timing was perfect. We will...

Fuji Ramen is about 15 minutes south of Space Center Houston. Easy off and on to 45 freeway. We went to the space center for the galaxy light event and since the weather is getting cooler, tasty ramen fits the bill perfectly. We were not particularly hungry so we only got the spicy chicken wing and a couple of ramen. Not particular busy late Friday night. Lots of wait staff available and was seated immediately. Menu offers a selection of Japanese, Korean and Vietnamese food. The spicy chicken wing took about 10 minutes to prepare which our waiter informed us when we ordered. Let me tell you. It is fresh out of the fryer, hot and crispy. Great choice for a starter. We followed with fuji ramen and black garlic ramen, both are delicious. Service is top notch, attentive and check back often. Definitely a great find as we were exploring the area.
