Nice, clean, local, and friendly. Pros: fast seating, food is tasty and interesting, kids like the food, clean Cons: too loud, staff was slow to get us a check. I’m a single guy with three kids 14, 10 and 5. I took my two younger kids with me here for breakfast after a baseball game at Bug League Dreams. On a Sunday morning at 10:00 am we were seated immediately. Spacing in good and the place is clean with photos of local attractions on the walls which gives it a local feel. The mean was just right for me not too overwhelming but a nice selection of options. They offer a nice selection of Eggs Benedict my favorite which they call “Arnold’s” for some reason. All the options sounded good my choice on this day, the Arnold southwest was tasty with just a slight bit of spice. I would get it again, personally I like more spice but as an off the menu item it more spice then I expected. The hash browns that came with it were good but were cheese hash browns. To me hash browns are Waffle House hash browns. Crispy just potatoes and butter unless I ask for more. My kids had pancakes and they liked them. When I asked they said, they were not as good as IHOPE but they are good. The place is loud country music was a bit to loud and the high ceilings with no insulations made the place too loud for us to hear each other. I would go back because the place is clean, service is fast, and food was good.

Me and my family have been coming here for 2 years now and never had a single complaint. Today was different because we came in during a slow time but still had to wait a while for food to be ready. We always order the same thing because we know this is the best place to get french toast. When me and my mom started eating it we realized its was very mushy inside and not cooked all the way. Our server was hard to track down the whole time and had to ask other servers to assist with our issues. We had to wait a long time for the manager to come to our table. She was very nice and offered to remake it but we were just turned off and wanted to order something else. Our food came out better but eggs were still pretty slimy and way undercooked. I didn’t want to complain again so just paid and left. They did not charge us for the french toast but i would have appreciated some type of other compensation. We’ve never had an issue the whole two years coming here but most likely wont be back anytime soon.

League City has been trying to develop the area by attracting upper scale dining but would've been much better served by a Black Walnut Cafe. I've been waiting awhile to come here since opening but long wait times have deterred me, as well as the online check-in process never working. The food we ordered OK at best, but not great. My wife's coffee was received late, burnt, and devoid of the flavoring it was supposed to have. I asked for 2% milk and was told that the only offerings were oat and almond, only to find out later that they also offered regular whole. My Belgian waffle was really dense and flavorless on its own until I smothered it in butter and syrup. The junkyard fries should have stayed in the junkyard; the nacho cheese was about the worst I've ever had and over priced with the skimpy amount of toppings. The menu was sticky and worn out, definitely something they should have had the foresight to laminate as well swap out or possibly clean between customers.

Well, we (3 people) went to try out The Toasted Yolk Cafe in League City this morning and "Ohhhh Laaawwwdddd!" 😋😋😋 I don't even know where to start, but I guess it will be by saying that our waitress was sooooo awesome, very friendly, welcoming and customer-service oriented (her name was Alyssa- 😉)! This was our first time, and I was a little apprehensive because of not being sure if we'd like it, instead of a "sure thing" go to place we are used to. I must say that this place DID NOT DISAPPOINT! 😁 We got the 2 eggs and a cake plate, the shrimp and grits plate, the Southern fried Arnold plate, the churro-style donuts, and their dark roast gourmet coffee. First off, the shrimp and grits... (visualize "biting knuckles" good 😋) were off tha hook...! 😏 -The shrimp was cooked to perfection, juicy and very savory, served atop of the grits with crispy bacon pcs. that were very flavorful as well! -The 2 egg plate had scrambled eggs, 3 pcs. of bacon, hashbrown cassarole, and a pancake that was very fluffy and the size of frisbee! 👀 -The Southern fried Arnold plate had 2 biscuit halves that were topped with 2 very nice-sized, crispy and tasty fried chicken strips, topped with poached eggs and sausage gravy! The eggs were cooked perfect with plenty of runny yolk to cover each little tower. It also came with a side (we chose the hashbrown casserole, since we had grits with the shrimp). -Like churros? Well, you'll love the churro-style donuts (4 pcs.) served with caramel sauce... we got them first and enjoyed them very much. The donuts were doughy and crunchy, fried perfectly... sooo good! The coffee was strong and enjoyable, especially with the donuts...! All in all, for the price (pic of tab included for reference) and portion sizes, THIS PLACE IS A MUST!, and you can bet we'll be back...

Carson did great! He was very friendly and tried to give us the best experience possible. There was 6 of us so I understand it can be hectic. However I feel that the management team failed the staff today. The AC was leaking on our table the entire time (we moved our table over multiple times and no one came to check on us), the TVs were set on the reminder screen for the entire duration of our meal, drinks took atleast 15 minutes to come out (whoever was working service well seemed very lost), 2 of the 3 sinks did not work in the women’s restroom, and it didn’t seem like much of the staff didn’t know the menu or what they were serving. The sweet girl that brought our food out asked who had a “chicken salad sandwich” when it was a tuna sandwich for one of our guests. Where are the tickets that tell you what the tables food is? I received the wrong Arnolds and were served the new ones with the wrong side. We were charged for both Arnolds. When things like this happen a manger should immediately hit the table to check and make sure everything is correct and comp the check for what was rang in incorrectly. My family was very excited to try the bloody Mary’s but they were out due to not enough being prepped. We asked the bar for coffee creamer and the bartender seemed very lost as there was 5 full cups of creamer scattered along the bar. Instead of bringing us creamer, we received another cup of coffee that we didn’t need. MANAGEMENT due better on training your staff and accommodating your guests. During our entire experience, I didn’t see a single manger working the floor. We love Toasted Yolk and enjoying brunch here regularly but this is unacceptable. If this is what happens on a Saturday brunch, I can only imagine a...

First time here to try this place! I've always heard good things about their breakfast. First thing I noticed on the breakfast menu was that there are a lot of different choices! I was in a big group of about 12 people. They had made prior reservations for 9:00 am. When we arrived there were two servers ready to take care of our group!!! Allison and Rachel were both on their game as it took no time at all for them to get our drink orders and get them back out to all in our group! They first made sure everyone had a glass of water to get started! Everyone got something different and it all really looked good. I had the deluxe breakfast with two eggs any way you want them, I ordered mine easy over with two sausage patties that are good sized and also Hash brown casserole with sweet tea for my drink. Just to the left of me, one of our group ordered the breakfast tacos with brisket and they looked really good!!! He verified that they were very good!!! It's really nice and roomy inside with room for groups or individuals! It's not overly loud and has a nice ambience and they are very quick in getting your food out to your table! It is very good for breakfast and they have a lunch menu, but I didn't really look it over. I'll have to try it out again sometime and try something different like the breakfast brisket tacos!!! And once again Kudos to our waitresses/Servers, Allison and Rachel!!! They...
