This is not the same as the paper menu at League City; you would think in the year 2023 that Mr Byrd could find a 10 year old kid to update his websites. Prices totally different, never again. Go to Walk On's Sports Bistreaux instead, the menu prices are correct and it is an...
Read moreVERY DISAPPOINTED! We stopped in for a burger after one doctors appointment around 2:55 PM. We needed to eat and go to our next doctors appointment 30 minutes away. We each ordered a water, a beverage and a burger. I ordered a margarita that was listed as being five dollars on the happy hour list. I asked for mine to be on the rocks. My waitress came back to inform me that only the frozen margaritas were on the happy hour list. That was not stated in the menu. I agreed, but was very disappointed with the margarita. It was VERY bitter because the limes were inside of the margarita, instead of being placed on the edge of the glass, as it should have been and the limes were frozen rock hard. He ordered a Heineken, the menu said all happy hour Beers were one dollar off, then we were told it did not include the Heineken, again, the price was not reflected in the menu. We both ordered the “Ralph Burger”. I ordered mine medium, he ordered his rare. When they were delivered, they were both medium. The manager Ryan came by to apologize and said that the chef did not feel comfortable serving a burger that was rare! WHAT!!!?Obviously, if we ordered it that way, that’s how we wanted it! What did the chef think, that he had control over what we should and should not eat? I have never had that problem with THE SPOT in Galveston! We did not have time for the kitchen to remake an order as we had to eat and go to another appointment. It seemed like nothing went right with this order at all. We will not be stopping at this restaurant again. Too many mistakes for one...
Read moreI’m not usually a person to write reviews for restaurants but I felt I needed to share my experience for a place that I had been really excited to try and unfortunately was VERY disappointed. I had been wanting to go to the Galveston location since forever, but with the busy life I have just couldn’t make it there so imagine my excitement when they decided to build a location in League City. My husband was admitted to the emergency room on a Wednesday night this past week. After spending all day in the ER and finally getting him settled into a Room I was heading home, hadn’t eaten all day so I was like Hey, the Spot…why not. Grant it, it was late (I’d say about 8:30pm)…I placed an order to go for the kids chicken strip meal, fried fish plate, octopus, fried cheese sticks. Needless to say when I got home and opened the food it honestly looked liked it was from a fast food drive thru. The fish was cold, falling apart, the chicken strips looked like they were the last of the pickings, and came with more sweet potato tots that out portioned the chicken, hush puppies were not cooked through, the rest of the fish plate was just sad, and the octopus was tough. Like I said I know it was late, close to closing, but the restaurant wasn’t empty. I felt that I should have gotten the quality of food as if I was a customer having dinner there at 7:00 pm. I was just very heartbroken after spending almost $70.00 to really waste more than half of what I bought. Probably...
