Gotcha Boba — Restaurant in League City

My husband brought our children and I to try this new Boba place, I kinda picky I normally only get the honeydew melon but they said that they were out, so I picked the purple Frozen drink with tapioca at the bottom and my girls got the same thing I was waiting on mine as everybody else had gotten theirs and my girl is allowed me to take a sip of their drink it tasted great the tapioca was cold Etc but when I realize that everybody else is getting their orders that was behind us I told my husband that he needs to go check what's going on with my drink so he did she never rang up my drink is what she said and then my husband went ahead and paid for mine when I got it that's tapioca was hot and I mean hot I could feel it through the cup I went back in without having even opening the cup explain that my tapioca was hot and it's supposed to be cold in a frozen drink they told me that they keep them warm so they separate now I've been drinking Boba for a long time and never come across this issue. So I asked for a refund because I wasn't going to drink it and she came out from behind the curtain from the kitchen and said no refunds or exchanges I was pretty upset so I said okay that's fine I turned around and as I was walking out a gentleman in his girl friend was walking in and I offered them it as it hadn't been opened and I wasn't going to drink it so why let her go to waste. Not to mention how rude she was on multiple occasions...

I've been to this boba shop multiple times, and I always order the Vietnamese coffee with coffee jelly. The flavor consistently impresses me; it's rich and bold, making it the best boba I've had so far. However, I do think the staff could be a bit more friendly and engaging. Thankfully, I haven't had a bad experience until recently.

One day, I visited, just like any other day, and ordered my usual drink. As I sipped my way down, I was shocked when I looked into my nearly finished cup and discovered a ROACH floating inside. It was a horrifying sight that made me feel sick to my stomach. I couldn’t believe that this happened, especially since I had always enjoyed the quality of their drinks.

I went here today and ordered a Jasmine Milk Tea with tapioca pearls and BBQ pork buns. The BBQ pork buns tasted a little dry and underseasoned but they werent fresh so it was understandable and it was ok because I was starving lol. The guy working was very kind and charismatic!! My problem is that their was a bug in my drink. I was walking around shopping, drinking my drink, and I got to the end. This is usually when theres a lot of boba left over so you just gotta eat them up. Well, I suck one up and begin chewing and I chew something as hard as a rock. I spit it out and look in my hand and its a little black bug, still wiggling around. I immediately threw away my drink. Nothing bad about the guy who served me, he was wonderful! Just please check your stock, there might be bugs in it. Don’t think Ill be coming back to this place but y’all were nice everytime I came in and I wish...
