Logan's Roadhouse — Restaurant in League City

2/18/2023 I have given this place so many chances but the bartender Saturday night was the last straw. When I sat at the bar there was only an older lady sitting there with me. The bartender never cracked a smile and she had a face that said I don’t not want to be here, the whole time I was there.

She quickly give me my drink and didn’t bring any rolls, didn’t say anything if they were coming or not. While I waited for her to come back while she waited on tables outside the bar, I looked over and noticed that the lady next to me didn’t have any rolls. When the bartender came back around I asked her for a straw and rolls, and she just walked off. Me and the lady next to me looked at each-other and she told me that she never even offered her any rolls and was gonna have to ask for some Togo. While ordering my meal she kept trying to walk off and not let me finish ordering my meal as I was adding on things to my main course. I had to call her back to finish placing my order, as she never asked if I wanted anything else, just walked off again not saying anything.

My service after this ordeal was actually fine the rolls came out hot and my meal was delicious. The lady next to me however was having enough of the bad service, the constant walking off of the bartender every time we asked for something, never communicating back to either of us. She got a meal Togo and asked for rolls as well since she never got any. Something was being argued about the butter or sauces that she had asked for togo. They didn’t want to give it to her or something so she started airing out to another employee about her whole experience. I felt for her as she wasn’t being high maintenance, she was asking for stuff that wasn’t offered or should of been given to her before and during her meal. All the while trying to be understanding that maybe the bartender is maybe just having a bad day and trying to stay nice to her.

This is what set off my one star review. The other waiter or manager listening to her bad experience only kept saying sorry and never offered her some form of compensation. If he did, and I maybe I just didn’t hear, she had already made it clear that she was never coming back. I could tell the bartender was looking back and she knew that lady was not happy and half listening in to the conversation they were having. The lady paid her bill and left a generous tip. When she got up to leave, instead of asking what’s wrong or apologizing she yelled “bye have a good night” making it loud and clear that she did not care about her bad experience. I have never seen that type of disrespect to a customer ever. This must be why the bar is always empty...

My husband and I went last Friday and will never go back. When we were first seated, we waited about 10 minutes before being greeted by a waiter. The hostess had to go to the back to get the wait staff to come to our table and another table with a family that was waiting for just as long as we were. When we were greeted, well actually we weren't even greeted. The first thing the server asked us was what we wanted to drink. I don't even know what her name was. As we wait for another 10 minutes to get our water, I begin to look around. Underneath our table, the wall is FULL of mold. (Which I am highly allergic to). I told the hostess and asked if we could move spots. She moved our seat and profusely apologized. We told our server why we moved and she seemed to not really care, then proceeded with our order. Keep in mind, no one EVER came to apologize or explain the mold on the wall where we were sitting. In fact, there were even small spots on the new booth we were sitting at. My husband and I both noticed that it has been about 20 minutes since we ordered our food. Besides us, there are only 4 other tables with people. My husband is facing the kitchen and sees our food in the window/under heat lamps (not sure what these are called). Finally, after the servers finished their conversation with the chef in the back, our food was brought to us. My burger was DRY and COLD. It had no seasoning and the cheese was no longer melted. The fries seemed as if they were at the bottom of the basket. The mushrooms tasted as if they were old and not fully cooked. My husbands steak was cold and not seasoned either. His fries were also bottom of the basket. At the end of the night, we got our check and paid faster than the rest of the service that night. Worse ever experience. Only one man greeted us when we walked in. The waitress that was our waitress was at the front and just staring at me like I had something on my face while she was talking to another man at the podium when we walked in. I was not pleased when she came to ask us what we want. She was not friendly or smiled or anything when she was taking our order. She never came to check on us the whole time we were there. . She literally sat behind us the whole time we were there ( 3 table back ) and as soon as we got up to ask for the ticket, she went to the back after she seen us walking her way. We had to go ask another waitress for our ticket and that's when our waitress finally came out after the other waitress told her. She handed us our ticket without even saying anything or at least looking our way. After she put our ticket on the table with nothing to say and not even looking at us, she started talking to the new table. We had our card out and ready to pay as we had already been waiting on her all night and she never came.We walked up to the hostess station to ask if they can pay us out and she said she had to have the waitress do it. We specifically asked the hosts if she can do it so we didn’t have to deal with the rude waitress because our service was horrible and low and behold, she went to the back and told the waitress and out came the waitress with our ticket and card, shaking her head at us making sounds under her breath.. Idk why she was being so rude and ignoring us all night but I am permanent done with Logan’s ! Logan’s has really dropped the ball on customer service and the food was the same as the service.
