McDonald's — Restaurant in League City

I went inside to order at 9:40pm, the girl cleaning the lobby (Jennifer was her name) walked up to our table to tell us our food was ready (in to go bags). Once we had our food and sat back at the table not even 3 minutes later said y’all need to leave because I’m cleaning and we are closing the lobby now even though the lobby door says 10pm… I asked to speak to the Manager Sergio. I’ve never been to an establishment where they kick you out because you sat down to eat. I asked him, do we need to leave after ordering and being not able to eat inside. He told me yes because we already cleaned and are closing then said we could stay and eat but as soon as we finished we needed to leave with an attitude. I get you close at 10pm not before that, I highly recommend y’all visit another Fast food restaurant with better manners and isn’t rude … and if you’re closing the lobby early close the doors so customer won’t come inside and let them know before they sit down and try kicking them out or MCDONALD’S needs to change their hours to accommodate their employees when they want to...

Had the opportunity to be a secret shopper this tuesday morning for this location. I had a mobile order and went thru drive thru, pulled up to the first window, the young man who happened to be a manager (in gray shirt) was doing something like organizing while I was waiting for him for about 30 seconds to give me my mobile order receipt. I went ahead and kindly asked if I could order a sweet tea as an add on since he had me waiting for him and I needed a drink to go with my breakfast. There was no longer any cars infront of me. Well he suddenly became bothered and said well usually we don't do that but if you can hurry up I can. He gestured his hand to give me the money and said "c'mon" very rudely. This is the only location in galveston county that I've experienced disgusting service from. Especially from a supervisor. When he gave me back my change he again gestured his hand to get moving. Two of us went to this McDonalds on June 22, 2024. We ordered at 7:50 am. I ordered two identical sandwiches. I tried to eat the first one and something was very wrong with it. I told an employee something was wrong with it and it tasted bad. I gave the employee the second sandwich and said I did not want it. A manager came to our table with the sandwich. The manager had two employees that followed her to the table. She asked me why I did not want it. I told her there was something wrong with the first sandwich and I could not eat it. She told me if I was not going to eat it she would throw it away. I told her I did not want it. She offered it to the person that came with me. They declined. She walked off. I am 78 years old. This is the only time I have eaten at a restaurant, complained about the food, and was told eat it or we will pitch it. I was not offered a refund, a substitution, or any type of apology.
