Today around 1130 I did a mobile order. The order was promptly brought outside, but when we noticed that my child’s extra refresher was not in their happy meal. Even though there was a line at the drive-through, I went through the drive-through to try to fix the order. I spoke to four different people who just pushed me along to the next song and eventually told me to go park at number six. I waited there and I waited there and I wait there. I felt like there was a language barrier when I kept getting pushed to all the different people in the drive-through, so I called the actual McDonald’s and asked them if they could fix our order. They sent someone else and he took my daughter happy meal. A couple minutes later she returns and a woman comes out with him stating that the fries were in the happy meal. That they had been in there. Interesting enough the new french fries that were placed in there were hot. The original work hole. Thing, I am not a liar. Especially to do that in front of my children. They flat out lied about the extra fries in the bag. I didn’t called the McDonald’s again explain to them. Maybe they need to work on their customer service I was been yelled at by the lady that answered the phone , who returned told me that I was yelling at her when I wasn’t. Enjoy the gaslighting At this particular, McDonald’s. In my what 30 years of eating, McDonald’s, I have never been treated like this in my life. Like why would I lie about a children’s happy meal french fry? It was a simple thing to fix but turned into an episode of just gaslighting. Also, isn’t there a law that if you take food bag, you have to return it...
Read moreDuring our visit, they made our order wrong. The kiosk does not distinguish between spicy and non-spicy nuggets. The manager would not remake the order when I sent my son to have it corrected. Realize this: If a child comes to the counter, respect the child or teenager as an adult customer. There are many children who act as interpreters for non-English parents. Why do you disrespect me when I send my son to speak for me?
During the visit, a man in a clown costume came in with a mask on after riding a bike to the restaurant. He was refused service at the counter by the manager. We thought maybe a robbery was about to happen. As he was leaving, he stopped to scare a customer at the side pickup window in the lobby. Then he stopped by an occupied League City Police Cruiser parked outside. The police spoke to him a while. Then, the officer came in to ask about the clown. Apparently, a former employee. We left immediately after that.
We will not be returning here. You should remake an order if a customer requests it. You have no respect for your customers under 18. My child carries my power and my full authority. I demand the same respect for all guests regardless of age. I don't like visiting League City in general,...
Read moreSadly, this is the closest McDonald's to my house. They regularly mess up. Customer service is poor to say the least. Quality control is lacking. The staff could care less about the customers. "Quiet Quiting" runs through this place like it's oxygen. What a shame. I've tried over and over to give them pointers on how they can improve their service, but even the managers JUST DON'T CARE. I worked at McDonald's as a teen in the 90s and the way they run McDonald's (basically anywhere from Galveston to Houston) these days, wouldn't have flown with our managers. They ran a tight ship. This location is an absolute nightmare. If they weren't the one by my house, I'd never return. It's McDonald's... it's really not that hard... but for them it seems to be regularly impossible to get anything right. Biggest problem I've noticed, is that not a single person that works there is trained correctly to begin with. So the whole place has no chance of EVER running...
