I'm not happy with my experience today at all. I pay for the monthly Sip Club. I signed up with this because it advertised that you get unlimited drinks every 3 hours or so. I thought, what a great concept, sign me up! I get teas and coffee usually. I always get a Carmel Iced Coffee, never been charged extra. Please tell me why this morning did the guy that works at the League City location ring me up for a large Carmel iced coffee at almost $10?! So he took off the price of coffee, $4 and change bit charged me almost $5 for the Carmel flavor. Umm excuse me, who in their right mind would pay that much for flavor in a regular iced coffee?! It wouldn't even cost that much at Starbucks and their coffee is obviously way better. He told me that the coffee is free, but not the Carmel. So if I ordered a specialty latte, I'd only get a plain for free and pay for the cinnamon toast latte or whatever Flavor they have. No way! I've never been charged for sugar in my coffee, nor would I. Nor would I pay almost $10 for an iced coffee anywhere, but he stood there with a serious face expecting this from me. No way sir! I dont see anywhere where it states the Sip Club only allows plain coffee, no flavors. Like I said, even if I didn't pay for the Sip Club, I still wouldn't be ok with a large iced coffee with sugar being almost $10. I guess I'll need to cancel my membership and go back to Starbucks, or a gas station. $5 for sugar for 1 cup of coffee, I could buy multiple bottles for that. The Sip Club is a scam! I guess if you only want soda, then it's for you. I go out of my way to go to Panera Bread and to have him want to charge me for sugar, ridiculous! I could understand if I order shots of expresso or excessive amounts of sugar, but cane sugar or Carmel should come with it. A large iced coffee should have at least 3-4 pumps of sugar and not be charge for every single pump of sugar. Beyond disappointed...
Read moreNooooooo what has happened to my favorite semi-fast food joint??? I hadn't been there in a while, but so many red flags from the get-go: I park and see a hiring ALL positions sign. Uh-oh. I get inside, the front person was not rude, but clearly drained and apathetic. Food came fast, but before I could eat, I had to pull out THREE hand-wipes to literally scrub off dried food from the table top. EUW. Then my chicken salad sandwich bread was so wet it was mushy. Even worse, the chicken salad filling was even mushier. NO chicken chunks at all. Just this weird THIN paste. Then I tasted something rotten, so I open up the sandwich and the greens are brown and slimy. I know, I should've said something but seriously guys, I was so grossed out and appalled and felt like vomiting that I didn't know what to say without going off the deep end. I don't want Panera to go down, but both management and corporate need to step it up. And finally, not really a deal-breaker to me (everything BEFORE this ARE deal-breakers), but the furniture was DIRTY and old, like you see in a New York subway, not only worn but blackish brown with...
Read moreNote: The picture is of a near empty cup of coffee because I didn't think to open the lid until my stomach hurt. Thats when I realized that funny taste was curdled milk. (lost my sense of smell during covid)
I work across the street so I come here every morning and often for lunch. 4 days out of 5 my coffee is lukewarm. Not warm. Not even close to hot. You can’t even feel the warmth through the cup. Every day, I go to our microwave and heat up the coffee that I bought less than a minute ago. Someone isn’t paying attention to quality. Twice they put creamer in my coffee that curdled. Twice.
Often forget or leave out items. Buy French onion soup to go? 50% of the time you won’t get your croutons.
Is the line not moving in front of you and you’ve already placed your order? Bet your life your food has been made and is sitting getting cold while they figure out what’s wrong with the order in front of yours.
Why do I keep going? Because I can go there and back to work in less than five minutes round trip. And now my daily morning run has switched to the Starbucks...
