Starbucks — Restaurant in League City

Amanda was an absolute nightmare!! I placed a mobile order, I walked inside and it wasn’t ready, totally okay I’ll wait. But 15 minutes goes by and apparently someone forgot to make my drink…I asked to speak to the manager on shift and was told her name is Amanda…she was so disgusting and rude, absolutely TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I asked why my order was forgot about, these ladies on the floor seemed MISERABLE because of how chaotic it looked behind the counter, yes it was very busy and that’s why I had patience BUT my drink was forgotten about and someone in charge should be there…I asked her why she wasn’t helping , she returned an eyeroll and said “I was unpacking a huge order for customers so they have stuff to order when they come to the store..” “I do apologize but it’s ONLY been 15 minutes and I doubt they forgot, but we can get started on it” She goes back to the back , again, it looks like they are only making drinks for drive through, Amanda didn’t tell anyone about my drink so I had to interrupt the ladies and ask for my drink to be made , I got my drink and it was great. But I will never return due to that ladies attitude, absolutely disgusting. I wonder why the ladies looked so stressed and uncomfortable…having a manager like that would make me want to kill...

Every time I go (and I've tried different times of day), the staff is very friendly, but VERY slow! The drive thru takes between 30 to 40 minutes...occasionally only 20. If you order ahead, they either haven't made you drinks still 10 minutes later, OR they screw up the order big time. (DON'T even dream of trying to customize your order.) Today after remaking my both drinks, they were still wrong and then they redid them and they tasted HORRIBLE. Which is another common mistake at this location. It's hard to get a drink that tastes close to what you ordered. Another issue, the staff, although nice, is very loud and they create so much chit chat between themselves that it slows them down in their work. And heaven forbid one of their friends show up when you are there...because they get even louder and have such a grand time joking around, sharing personal stories, and philosophizing over the to-evolve or not-to-evolve their latest...

I was in shortly before 2pm. There were only 3 young employees there, on of whom was a trainee. He was taking orders and working the register. The customer in front of me had some questions so there was a delay. I asked about gluten free sandwiches, about which the young man was unfamiliar. The man behind me was extremely impatient and very rude. I told him he was welcome to go ahead of me. I asked the young man to take the man behind me first. I had to wait, but it wasn't an emergency! The employees were very nice, courteous and professional. They were working very hard to get everyone's order out. I sat down and watched. There were probably 5 orders ahead of me, but it didn't take very long. Plus the young lady making drinks was also taking drive through orders. I am extremely impressed with this location. The 3 young people are exceptional! I...
