Wingstop — Restaurant in League City

I honestly came to read the more recent reviews to see if this League City Wingstop had improved since my last visit a few years ago. Apparently it has not! So I decided to leave my review now. We used to frequent this Wingstop all the time. Every time we would pick up, the fries were cold. We would always have to asked to remake our fries. Once they told us that we have to call before we get there to tell them to put our fries in the grease because we’re on our way so that they will be fresh when we get there. That is absolutely ridiculous to ask the customer to do that. This is your business, you should know how to serve us properly. Preparing and serving hot food is a non-negotiable when running a restaurant. The manager even got rude with us once and told us that it’s not their responsibility to remake the fries for us if we’re late picking up our order… However we were not late, They just made it as fast as possible and left it sitting there before the time it should’ve been ready. Worst service ever from the manager at that time. We also decided to stop going because we realized that my wife would get sick almost every time we ate there. I am realizing that this is somewhat of a trend in these most recent negative Google reviews for this location. Beware - eat at your own risk! Yea,....no. Absolutely no. Ordered take out, arrive 25 min later and they hadn’t even started the order. I didn’t call in ahead of time to walk in and wait an additional 15 min for you to finally decide to cook my order. Staff playing on their phone and giggling ...I get why it wasn’t ready. They obviously forgot to ring it in.

Tried another avenue ...ordered doordash....

Saw the driver was there, after several min I text the driver asking if everything was okay. Driver txt back saying the order wasn’t ready and they had just called it out on the line and started cooking it a few min ago. So, apparently this is common practice. I guess they don’t understand the concept of togo orders. So, let me explain to you and your employees....we order the phone online/telephonically and you make the order. We arrive and the order is ready, we pay and pick up the order with no wait time....cause we got-to-go. Obviously I tipped the doordash driver extra for dealing with this nonsense.

I’ll go elsewhere next time I want to place a togo...

I'm not sure why I came back here again after the last bad experience, but my hubby likes their wings and he had not had them in awhile. I ordered 15 Louisiana DRY Rub and a small drink. She says 9-14 minutes, which I know is not true but I sit to wait. After 25 minutes, the girl calls me to the counter and says the guy making wings is new and he doesn't understand the sauces so he put Serrano pepper GLAZE on the wings. But that they are going to give me large fries for having to wait. She asks if that is OK, I told her "yeah just get going and make the damn things". 10 minutes later I finally got wings. I see several things wrong with this: #1 why is he so poorly trained that he doesn't know what flavorings are what, #2 can he not read, #3 is he so stupid he doesn't know the difference between DRY rub and wet GLAZE, #4 why did I have to sit there for 25 minutes when the order should have taken 14, #4 your bland ass fries are not payment for the 40 minutes I was sitting there.
