On Saturday I came in to pick up a team order consisting of 20 individual sandwiches only to realize that the order had been placed for the wrong day. I was supposed to deliver the meals to Rockhurst within 30-45 minutes of my arrival. At first, I was told that there was no way that they could start and make the entire order - they didn't believe they had enough bread and it was the lunch hour. Walker (who may have been the manager but if not, he was definitely a great leader!) helped me problem solve. We tried calling another location who simply said they couldn't help me. He then told me that he could perhaps make half the order and that he would call to see if a third location could do the other half. Ultimately though, he threw more bread in the oven and got his team to work. He was going to let me know when they got half way through. He offered me a drink while I waited and I sat there patiently, happy for any help he was able to provide. In what seemed like less than ten minutes, his team had gone ahead and made the entire order for me. I then wanted to go through the chips as I had been warned that we might be short a few bags of chips. One of the other kids there was super sweet and gladly went through the bag to help me count. He easily could have been annoyed with me but he was not. I purchased the rest of the chips we were missing and made it to Rockhurst only 15 minutes late. I was genuinely so appreciative of their help. It was nice to see someone so willing to help problem solve and an entire team of people work together to get something done. Read moreI love jimmy johns, but this location continues to disappoint me. I don’t usually make negative reviews, but it’s ridiculous how many times I’ve been let down here. •the guy with the sunglasses often weirdly jokes around with me sarcastically and it’s kinda uncomfortable. Like come on dude, I just want to get a sandwich. I don’t know if he is still there though. •They often get my orders totally wrong, and when I go back they do fix it sometimes, but I hate that I even have to do that. •I’m sure some of the employees are great, but some of them do act super unprofessional. I’ve worked fast food before, and I get it, but at least put your act together when a customer is present. •I did an online order simply to avoid either the sunglasses guy or one of the unprofessional employees. I ordered little John, and instead got a big John, and it even came without one of the meats and no mayo when it was supposed to have those things (the only mod I made was no Tomato) I’m sure jimmy johns doesn’t just run out of Mayo. I’m sure they thought I’d be happy to get the bigger sandwich, but that’s not what I ordered.

Read moreNo way Jose! I work at the mall next door… we order JJ a lot. This particular day we were busy and decided JJ was a great idea! The food is always high quality and satisfying with the BEST unwiches… when we ordered, the website said “longer than normal delivery times” which we totally understood. Some time had gone by when I saw my phone light up and I checked it when I finished with my customer. Strange number from KCK.. I called it back (they left no message) I talked to “Someone” that said Jose the manager cancelled my order because he didn’t have any drivers… now my issue isn’t the no delivery, the issue is cancelling the order without talking to me because I would have told them I will pick it up it’s no big deal… I talked to Jose and he says “I called you it isn’t my responsibility to leave a message because you didn’t answer”.. excuse me what?????!!!!!!Then why bother calling!!!! I said I’m working just like you are and I called you back less than one minute after I saw the missed call.. he said “well it’s already deleted so.. “.. absolutely horrible customer service.
