TL;DR The price point is too high for the actual service experience, it is ran like a Massage Heights imo with Elms spa pricing.
To start, the space in the changing room is very small and offers no privacy unless you wish to change in a toilet closet. The relaxation room was crowded with no space to spread out.
My service provider spoke in a way that seemed rushed, throughout the service. She started the service by stating, “we probably won’t have time for massage” even though that is listed in the treatment description. She did offer to focus on an area while “applying the body butter” and did well in that area, but overall the experience seemed rushed and was not relaxing.
After my service I went back to the relaxation room, which was now empty and everything was put up and the lights were on. Again, I felt rushed and like there was no time to relax after the service. I checked the closing time and saw it was 7pm and my service ended at 6:50. A gentle suggestion: Maybe close a half hour after the last appt ends instead of right when the last appt ends, that way patrons feel they can relax and take time leaving instead of feeling unwelcome and rushed at the end of service.
Finally, my service was supposed to include a lava bracelet and I was never offered one but instead had to ask the front desk person when checking out. She was very nice about it, but it speaks to the rushed feeling and the treatment description vs what is experienced.
The price point is too high for how small the space is and how it is run (like a rushed in and out massage parlor - not a spa to relax and enjoy). I have a gift card and plan to spend the rest on products, not services, as I don’t see the value in the service...
Read moreI had the absolute pleasure of receiving a Deep Cleanse Facial from Abbie at Woodhouse Spa, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about both her and the spa itself! From the moment I walked in, I was surrounded by luxury—the locker room where I could securely store my belongings, the softest robe known to man, and the delightfully peaceful "Quiet Room" where I relaxed before my appointment. Every detail was designed for comfort and tranquility.
Abbie took incredible care of my skin, ensuring I was comfortable and well-informed throughout the treatment. She explained each step, detailing the benefits while making the entire experience feel both educational and indulgent. Her passion for aesthetics is truly inspiring—her enthusiasm made me even more excited about taking better care of my skin. She also has a perfect balance of professionalism and warmth; conversation flowed naturally when appropriate, but she also allowed for peaceful relaxation during the quieter moments.
Believe me when I say, I will follow this talented young lady wherever she goes—she is that good! I look forward to continuing my skincare journey with Abbie and exploring the many other services that Woodhouse Spa has to offer. If you’re looking for an esthetician who is skilled, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your skin’s health, book with Abbie—you...
Read moreMixed feeling, but trying to be as objective and as fair as possible. Spent a day here with my whole family. Massage by the male therapist was great (sorry, we didn’t capture his name). My facial was relaxing enough but unfortunately not very effective. Would’ve liked better results with the concerns I shared.
My youngest son enjoyed his facial by ShaRon - this was so wonderful to hear! She set the tone for his future attitude toward self-care, I love it! His face was glowing when we saw him.
My oldest son looked as if his face was untouched. His concerns were ignored and when we all shared what we had during our treatments, he kept saying “I didn’t get that”. I expressed his concerns in both writing and verbally before he was brought back. It is unfortunate to see professionals don’t take clients that can’t advocate for themselves seriously and get inferior service because they think for whatever reason it doesn’t matter.
Finally, I wish they had better attention to detail. I called the day of the appt to make sure there’s no screw up since I haven’t heard back from them after I scheduled. They asked for the spelling of the kids names and gender again, yet when we arrived their robes were in a female locker room. Not a big deal, but would’ve been extra special to give them a full luxury experience...
