Honestly the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. Completely disappointed. I ordered on the app at 10:30 pm and waited an hour for my food curbside. When I attempted to go inside to ask what was going on, they refused to give me a refund. They claimed they close at 9 now, which is not shown on Google or the McDonald's app, both of which say 12am. It is completely confusing given all their lights are on, their drive-through is still on, the big M is still on, and they have people walking around inside. I am certain I am not the only one who was completely confused by this, because while I am writing this they had a steady flow of people going through their drive through under the impression they were open. I told them (mind you through the window, because they were completely unwilling to talk to me) that I didn't want the food. I just wanted my money back. The apparent shift manager said it was not his problem, and I needed to cancel the order on the app. This is completely not possible on the app, and I told him this several times. He said "I don't know. Call your bank then?" Frankly, it is ridiculous on every front. The cash register is right there. There is no reason you can't give me the refund. I shouldn't be expected to go through a lengthy corporate cancellation through my bank for a freaking cheeseburger. And then what? How am I supposed to make the argument that I never received my food? There is no way to verify that. Until I get my money back, McDonalds of West Leb has effectively stolen from me, and I am certain I won't be eating at this location...
Read more1 It was dirty. Not dirty from being busy, but dirty from neglect. Thick dust on the soda dispensing machine but the whole counter up to the actual machine.
2 One person to wait on the walk in customers. We took the time to leave my car and walk in to order, it took 3 minutes to place the order. The we waited 4 minutes from placing the order to getting it. Our order was 2 decafe coffees and an apple pie.
3 The coffee was very old! We simply took it. I was not going to fight the drive through, which obviously the company considers more important then the walk in. We just dumped out the coffee.
The pie had a sticker on the package informing the staff and customer that it was to be severed before 2:31. It was 7:30!!! That was returned for a refund.
McDonald's at one time was the example of fast service. A customer was to be addressed in less then 30 seconds after walking in the door. And the food served with in a minute, unless a special order was placed. Then the customer was informed of the delay, and given the choice of waiting for their beverage or taking it.
With so many fast food and quite a few full table service restaurants in the area I would expect customers would be served promptly. Blaming lack of hired help does not garner sympathy from a tired customer, who needs a drink and a snack. Read moreI drove through with my family and had made a mistake in ordering. I cleared up with the cashier that I needed an ingredient omitted from 2 items due to an allergy my children have. The change was put in but when I got to the window for the food, they hadn’t made the adjustment. I asked, the woman got huffy and rude. She told me to park out front so I did. 15 minutes later, nothing, so I went in. Not one associate could assist me. The lady who told me to go park hadn’t even bothered to have my burgers made, so I waited until a lovely employee named Maxxie helped me out. She got me my food quickly once she realized what was wrong. Then I hear the drive thru lady say that I changed my order late and insulted me because I forgot to mention an allergy upon my original order. She clocked out and ordered her own food before I even saw mine. I’m not impressed with the woman. I didn’t catch her name, but she was kind of tall, brown hair, black and red back pack.
